Sounds like a plan. I am 100% long at this time and hoping for a good run starting today and running all through Friday. All the news coming from the Fed in terms of reactionary measures and the possible bills being pushed through Congress and the Senate to help the problem are very comforting.

As long as things don't reverse like last time it crossed the MA (August 8 & 9)...

You must be the only two people in the world then that have a magical crystal ball.

NO ONE KNOWS "what will happen to the market". One can only trade based on what has happened and what is happening and if you're trading on anything else you're just guessing.

My .02

Can we please get back to our regular scheduled programming and stop with the bickering.

Lol, Mcichocki called that a while ago. He was trolling this board trying to start stuff, but he did it subtle enough to avoid being banned. That is until he got caught with multiple screen names.

Yes. Double checked the IPs and of course he was correct. Unless of course they are two different people taking turns on the same computer.

They are very 'close'.

The market is trading it a tight range. Cashed in a lot of profit on the open. Was hoping to buyback some things on a pullback, but really haven't had one of significance. But a nice and green boring day in the market. Can get use to this.

That's what I was thinking. I mean, sometimes it's hard to decide who you are on any given day

I hope this works. With all the charts flying around this is what I see for the short term. Comments would be greatly appreciated as I still consider myself a novice when it comes to charting.

I think a bounce from the 200 ma area was pretty much to be expected. There is a good amount of resistance ahead (like the trendline) and until it convincingly breaks that I'm not expecting any spectacular rallies.

Needs to break the trendline and start forming higher low and highs. If we do get a rally up to that trendline, I'll most likely start a short position (DXD). If I'm wrong about that call I won't be upset as that will be an excellent sign and I personally prefer a bull market.

Market is starting to pull back. Time to start looking for buying opportunities.

and the Fed is worried about our inflation

Zimbabwe's inflation -- already the highest in the world -- hit 7,634.8 percent in July, reminding Zimbabweans there is no relief in sight from daily hardships including chronic food, fuel and foreign currency shortages

And this is way the UN has made Zimbabwe's representative lead the UN Sustainable Development Committee. Look it up, it is a fact.
