I actually found out that instead of dreading Monday's I look forward to them because the markets open up again! Haha, if I were to involve myself with FOREX my life would be spent in front of a computer. Trading has so many positives but a single bad day can set me in a bad mood.

Do you have any plans for what you'll do with your money or have a goal in mind for how much you want to make?

I started out with $10k three years ago and since then have been growing and adding extra cash for my Fidelity trading account. At the moment I'm trading with $250k cash and another $150k margin (margin is used only for longer term investments like apple which I bought in mid October but plan to sell before February).

I'm here too with about $50k Cash and $50k in Margin which I have used to setup a financial position in Ford especially at these levels. My plan is to setup a nice amount of cash to be financially stable for the next 20 years.

What I saw wasn't a 'bullish trend'. It's possible that it may turn into that but that breakout was really manipulation. There wasn't any reason for it. We're in a recession and that's why people tend to be bearish. I play one day at a time and I don't care what direction we go as long as I'm right.

I'm trading to buy a home and pay for a wedding. Currently trading with 100k, a mix of savings, credit card 0% balance transfers made via check to myself haha, and some left over money set aside for college I never used up.

Usually 1 year 0% offers I'll pay back at the due date and they go and offer me it again lol. Retard credit card company lending me cash for free, actually there's a 3% fee so I guess they are making more money than a treasury bill.

I would like to thank you for this idea hahaha. I have used the 0% checks but never for this purpose. I shall write myself one!!! lol just gotta make sure i dont loose any haha.

Chase Slate has an offer right now 0% and if you balance transfer within 30 days, they will wave the balance transfer fee. :)

....There is more fantasy in the U.S. employment numbers than in a Harry Potter novel. According to the BLS, the U.S. added 120,000 jobs in November 2011 and the unemployment rate fell by 0.4%. This is not possible....

I agree, it was a BS number ... the best we've seen in years, just ahead of elections..coincidence? I think not.

But even if it is true, so what? It's just 1 month and during the holiday season too. Not really anything spectacular.

If anything, this 8.6% number is going to make post holiday numbers look very bad when it drops back down to the 9% norm since apparently people are giddy over monthly data.

Unfortunately the government is playing with these numbers so much that I doubt we will be seeing unemployment at 9% again. The real unemployment is about 16% but you'll never hear about that number from the WH. But yea, the holiday season is due to the lowering of the unemployment rate and the rate will once again rise in January.

I did a little bit of looking into it. Very scary crap and I am sure it is happening all the time now.

Who knows, perhaps it is somehow buried in the sudden volitility we see from time to time out of the blue without any kind of news.

I am sure there are lots of bigs guys in the know. Heck look at the special rules they have for politians that they can act on insider trading type info and not get in trouble but it we do it we go to jail.

I trade to buy my "toys". I want the new Samsung 32" 6500 series LED TV for my MBR, but I haven't been able to buy it yet. I went in too heavy in Goldman Sachs late last month. I'll work my way out of it & should be able to buy my TV by month end.

I'm playing with $25k in my trading account. I have this account setup on margin, but i never use it. I just wanted to avoid the settlement holdups. Then I play with $35k from my 401(k) thats in a direct rollover plan with scottrade.

Good luck with your exotic car purchase. What did you have in mind? Lamborghini? Ferrari?
