This is why this site is the best stock forum on the Internet.  There is so much knowledge that is shared by members from StockJock-e to you that is not required , with the sole intention of helping people make better decisions and more money.   Thank you for helping and please don't stop.

Me too Jocke-, we're at a decent place for puts but I think we can retest that 1280 with a relief rally tomorrow so I'm cautiously on the sidelines. Gonna let the brave ones go in first and get squeezed out tomorrow lol

non-farm payrolls and unemployment rate should excite. Plus a few Gyros for lunch perhaps.

Wish I held Netflix, pretty low risk trade at $80 where I got it two days ago. Now at 87. Had the 75/85 Nov call spread for $5, probably worth almost $10 now lol

Then we only sell 4% of the shares in a much hyped IPO that guarantees a big one day pop where all the insiders can dump on the same suckers that bough LNKD and P IPOs.

Congrats on cracking 200 credability points!

Each thumbs up you give is now worth 3 points. Issue them wisely!

Children at school in Athens fainted because of hunger. An adult in my home town waited for a child to come out of a bakery and stole the bread of the boy's hands. How many days should one be hungry before they leave their children hungry? In Greece probably a lot. Drachma or Euro is indifferent to me. The best currency is one that will stop the above happening.

Yep, confirmed bonified scumbag banker.  I'd like to line up every single banker and...

If there is one group that most Greeks hate even more than the current government, it is surely bankers.

Merkel is up for re-election and has not done well in recent bi-elections. Sarkozy is well behind in the polls and France will most probably elect a new leader. Papa will be ousted, will Berlusconi follow?. There will be many changes in the EU leadership this summer. What are the chances of the bailout ever being put into place within the next 6 months and the big question remains, where will they actually find the money?

Ive learned more about Europe in these last few weeks than I ever did my entire life!

What's the consensus here between EOD rally vs EOD tank?

I'm rolling with EOD tank.

Hmm.... I count four failed attempts to cross 1251 on the S&P this morning.  Common sense would dictate that the market will move lower, right?

So, how do you strictly technical analysis traders know when to enter trades?  You could enter puts at 1251 on the S&P and then 30 minutes later, the market pops because of some headline.  Sure you can put tight stops on your trades, but you're still losing money.

lol very nice of you sir!

I entered some SPY 122p Nov monthlys a tad early but not bad so far and took some next week's 123p's.

Oh and that BAC straddle was paying out this morning finally (or breaking the whole trade even at least), stupid JEF!

Yeah, Im not discounting a rally higher, but Ive got 1262ish S&P as the max I expect this to go.
