1263 held so far but i see no reason to take any scalps here yet,I want to see if the dollar pullback and the FTSE has not rallied at all.Check this out the FTSE and DOW both down 1.71% it's amazing how connected these markets are..

This morning was funny, market looked horrible, oil was hitting -4%, so I turned on CNBC to see how they could possibly be pitching this as good news.

An analyst was on saying that these lower oil prices are great for the economy and will work itself through the system which will benefit everbody!

Weeee!

Too bad for me because I filled up gas yesterday and missed todays fire sale prices! laughing.gif

Hey Ole Fart how have you been ???  I still think next week we rally but it could be a fat dead cat bounce,i would love to see some panic capitulation in one massive wave but as long as 1263 holds we are setting for a bounce next week IMO..If not 1244 is my next line in the sand..

ES 5 min trying to carve out a bottom here, as long as we see these divergences between the majors on their lows, seems like we have a decent chance to recover some of these losses. Energy in the downside trade has at least for a while fizzled out. This would be where lots of hitchhikers let go of that car and see which one to grab next, hurry up and wait.

AAPL gaining strength let's see if it continues..

Still looking for RIMM 30.00 ..... call side selling like hotcakes.  Look at that open interest from the 30's on into the 40's.

If anyone had taken my advice, you'd be up over 1% on 3 of the 4 stocks.  AAPL has only moved up about 0.3% since I recommended it.

AAPL is weak so possibly sell it and take the 0.3% profits.  The other stocks keep---their all at about 2% profits so far and will likely go higher

I'm considering CRUS right now. Looks like a good possibility. Also picked up BAC early.

Picked up AAPL at 323.5, I think it will do alright today and bounce up tomorrow (hopefully).

check out LEN. Had a sweet bounce back. didn't buy though

Yeah, I don't have BAC but if it gets down around 10 I'll pick some up.  I have a quite a bit of CRUS from about 3 days ago and I'll keep this for a while longer term (got in at 13.50).  I have a LOT in TSLA (got in at $27, and a little more at the 200 day MA at 25.70ish).  I'm out AAPL for now.  And I have LULU from $85 (will take profits soon)

Speaking of LULU - anyone think this is a good short? 55 PE ratio, I just think the entire stock is very overvalued right now. And the fact it's hit 102 in the last few days, I think their stay in 100 land will be short lived.

Anyone else think the Naz is trying to pull things up and maybe enable the ES to make at least an intraday run at 1270? If it can clear 1264 and the 5 min 50 MA (doing battle there now) it seems probable.

I think technically it would be a bad idea as well a fundamentally.  You have no idea how big this whole yoga crap is (obviously I'm not a yoga guy).  I went to visit my friend in Palo Alto because he goes to college up there.  Yoga is HUGE in a lot of these communities and their profit margin is enormous.  People continue to pay $100+ for a pair of tights.  Don't fight it... just let it be.  Either get in long or don't play it at all in my opinion.  I will never understand it, but when I saw it dip before earnings I had to buy, so I did.
