What's your take on the reason why?

I really have no idea. It definitely seems suspicious though; in the last 24 hours there have been some huge buys, seemingly out of the blue. Same thing happened in November & December '09 and it didn't go anywhere. Maybe insiders know something the public doesn't, but that's purely a guess. It's a total lotto play.

IMO there's a 5% chance that the sudden volume spike is because of something the public doesn't yet know about that will make us a bunch of money. And a 95% chance that it's some random other reason which will result in the stock not moving anywhere.
