Gold is looking good here. I like it more on a small pull back but i think its good here as well

Gold starting to move, up over $7 this morning

With the market in general running wild gold is on fire.

well the big take over of Alcan surely helped the mining stocks as well....

making it's way to that resistance line

Gold up nicely today, with a questionable economy investors may look to gold.
Inidcators looking pretty good. Seems to have found support at the 50 MA. Looking for a dip to the 20 MA before another leg up.

apologies for small chart... weekly GLD... supports @ 67, 66, 65.4.. mkt may be aiming for new 2-year high... "diagonal pattern" ..

quite overbought currently so may pullback..

the set up was perfect, I was in at the bottom again [GDX] and the chart set up Wednesday was to good to be true wrote put contracts on the sept. 38 strike @ .90 price closed @ .30 one day. ,
I witnessed high volume of put contracts at no r/s levels.
I said if they are buying I'm going to sell them.

i would say most of them already lost the game more than 50% move took them out.

I have been playing with the gold since last oct.
just writing calls against the stock along with a few extras as mentioned.

look at the charts on GOX,XAU and GDX
you can see the pattern - with a little patience you can just hit these up and down.

Coved calls on the ETFs is the way to go right now - conservative

Haven't looked at a gold chart in a few weeks.

Gold is up a bit today but up almost 18% for the week. Could be a good play in the upcoming weeks.

GOLD was down about 1% in early trading, but is now up 2% as this stock stays hot.

I'm waiting for a bounce in the dollar and a pullback on GLD. Looking to hedge myself against a declining dollar.

Gold hit the 2 year high today... took some profits off the table.. putting tight stops in place [potential "diagonal pattern"]... current support at ard 71 .. moving stops up if new supports are developed abv 71.. GLTA!
