had fun shorting SBUX, keep shorting, coffee beans hitting all time high, bad news for their production costs

SBUX coffee is good, but not worth the price...IMO

Their booked at least a year out on contracts, possibly 2. Current coffee market prices should not effect the PPS, however this wont stop the average 'joe' from losing confidence...short away.

Seems like this stock has been moving upwards in 10% increments each time with a small pullback after each move upward before making the next move up.
What I do know is that Starbucks here in Asia is doing well. While I can't comment on how they are doing in the US, I do know that in Taiwan,Hong-Kong and China they are doing very well. Perhaps their recovery will come from Asia to reach new highs. The majority of their stores are pretty packed any where you go in Taiwan,China and Hong-Kong.

Yes, but they project lower earning in 2011 for the reason of higher coffee cost in 2011.
