guys...take a look at GM...similar pattern, except GM broke out...I think we can expect Ford to do the same..

funny because I was looking at both GM & F to see which one I wanted to get into, and I picked Ford because I like Ford vehicles better than GM...talk about letting my "preferences" overtake my trading..

Well GM broke out b/c of news.  Not much coming from Ford but hope it breaks out over the 50ema here and tags 10 at least.

Back in this with first buy at 9.54. No stop as this will be a longer type of a swing trade. Well,thats the plan anyway.

Well ty for the warm welcome back. Look like markets aregoing to open higher today.

this has been pretty weak.  im close to getting out if it breaks below 9.50. 

multiple attempts at 9.70 but failed and even a marginally down day it sells off versus holding strong.

 then again, breather is healthy considering the run from below 9.    low volume as well..not too worried, just impatient

If this gets to low 9's...I'm in for the long haul.

yea i hung on to my calls too. 
Bounced off the 20ema which was nice to see.  Again low volume. 

If the S&P can  hold over 1422 this time around maybe Ford can hold the 50ma and move up consistently. 

doubled down on my calls.  Bounced off the 20ema again.  Looking for a little pop tomorrow so i can exit.

doubling on the 20ema looks like a good idea so far.  Bullish Engulfing on friday. lets see this happen. 

should be a nice move to the upside...I am still thinking 10.50 or better

Hmmm,I don't know OldFart,I was planning to sell at or near 10 where there is resistance,but,I am thinking we will see low 9's first. News of the strike is  not helping matters.

i think the strike isnt a big deal .  This date was known well ahead of time.  Im sure a deal will get made..

Still really weak volume though, just not much interest right now either way

You guys still holding your calls?  I am holding off on a second buy. I smell a correction coming afterJackson Hole no matter what Bernanke says and the dollar is due to catch a bid imo. Good luck to all.

Yeah,not looking to strong. Its below the 8 EMA and now the 20 SMA of 9.39. MACD looks like it may cross to the downside. Lower bollie sits at 9.04 which is where I will most likley add.
