That was a brutal sell off of AA. From over $6 to $5.39 now. I think it might go lower tomorrow.

The selloff is from its dividend cut. from 17 cents to 3 cent a share. Time to go long since i didnt sell my shares today. Alcoa did a good thing for its future, pretty much the identical thing GE did by cutting dividends.

Although Alcoa should have done this 3 months ago.Ill be picking up lowball shares in the morn.

I'll pick up some more as well around $5.

Hey Chemicals, How low do you reackon it may go? When CENX cut dividend and deluted their shares, their stocks tank 50%...
I'll be watching AA closely tomorrow...

buy on bad news
does anyone know if there's some sort of index or tracker to look at to determine the operational process of the metal mining industry?

like for bulk shipping companies, they use BDI; and as for AA and FCX, what do you look at to decide its outlook?
anyone buy at the open?
i sold at open from 5.60-should have sold at 6.27 but then- not many can predict awful news.
Thinking of entering at low 5s. Anyone else?
Bought after hours at 5.38 last night. Holding for the $7 range. Just glad as hell I had sold my shares after the last dividend in the $8 range!
When are you predicting $7s?
Im waiting for the $5 entry point as well on this and holding long.

IMO, it is just too early to buy AA. I'll wait for the market to define which way it is going to take, bear or bull. This bear rally we have been seing for the past 5 days is due, so let's wait. Liquidity, right now is the best way!
