I'm watching XOM myself, but on a valuation basis I think CVX is a better play for oil, keeping an eye on that one too

STC - I like DO as well, big dividend too.. although they just paid out so it will be a long hold to get another one.

Stock has moved up, but anywhere near 64 this is bulletproof. OZ and others buying the shit out of this bitch.

Tested resistance 3 times and didn't breakout.
Makes no sense for XOM to trade this way.

xom has been the worst performer compared to any other large and mid cap diversified oil company since the oil price bottomed out last year.. no reason for that to change I sold my april 70 calls avg cost of .27 out at .34 today..

Looking good today with oil going back above $81 but considering selling my shares sometime this week. My March 75 calls that I bought in Jan are pretty much worthless.

what is going on with this stock guys? Exxon is one of my larger holdings, do you think this thing is going to start moving or should i get out now and get into some small/mid cap companies that will benefit from this recovery?

It may be a little too late for that. XOM has been a lagger so you can either sell XOM and buy something like CVX or BP. Or maybe XOM is just undervalued compared to the rest and will have has the most upside from here on out. XOM isn't the only DOW that has underperformed some other notables off the top of my head are VZ, KO, JNJ.

xom has done well thus far 68 should pose some threat after this bust




big time volume on the april 70 calls this morning

68.10 looks like some resistance after that it looks clear to 70, april 70 calls at .54 look pretty good here, worth a shot

Sold my XOM shares. Can't see it going up much more without at least a slight pullback.

think it will move hard again if it can break 67.30 again today, still waiting on that gap to fill to 68

seen some big lots go through at 67.00 moving my stop up to 66.85

Sold my April 70 still holding July 70

Still got all my eggs in one basket. 200 of the july 70's - got out of the apr when they were in the .60s last week or so. Looking for stronger gasoline spreads and summertime bump and maybe some nat gas love in congress soon.
