This stock is hot. Today was terrible for the market overall and CBAI held strong!! If MCET is predicted to be $1.75 in a year then this should hit over $2.00. IMO
post #532 of 2452
This had a huge spike (.0198) this morning. I almost bought in at the open but waited to see how it was going to trade. Missed a few bucks there.

It's nice to see it's holding around .017 after the sell off.

CBAI cannot be stopped! The market could be down 1000 points and this thing would still be up 5%

My thoughts exactly!!

Heres a little article I found and wanted to share with you all.
http://www.parentingweekly.com/pregn...anking/faq.htm

Cord blood stem cell seems to becoming more and more popular
with patients all the time. Even my wife who is currently 7 months pregnant is interested in this.
The more I look into this stock, it should climb even if the gov. doesn't fund stem cell research. I'm an owner of this stock and I'm holding it a while. Its been holding very strong and climbing steadily almost everyday now. Even when the rest of the stocks arren't.

Its going to boom!!

CBAI is red hot! Check out a new blog call http://tradingstemcells2009.blogspot.com It provides information and tracks the trends of many of the stem cell stocks. CBAI is featured quite a bit. Today it has an interesting article about when might be a good time to close your positions in the stem cell names. It's not a "basher" article, but just food for thought.

Thanks lynn... always nice to have news passed to me...

I like this part of the article the best....
Not even the red hot Stem Cell stocks were immune from today's rough stock market. It's easy to get lulled into thinking that a stock in a hot sector will continue to rise day after day, but it's days like today that bring stock traders or investors back down to reality.

Its true... its really not going to go up day after day. It reminds me of some of the people that post on here (mad) because they bought this stock and it didn't go up in the 45 minutes they owned it. It will have days like today but its rises will beat its falls, creating a gradual increase. You can see this in the chart I posted above.

Very positive news ...They really dont have that much debt, and fore casted revenues look great.

I am still awaiting Obama to shift focus from this stupid stimulus bill to Medical Care / Stem cells.

IMO this stock has no where to go but up (once that happens). The flippers really aren't attacking this as far as i can tell. Volume has decreased but allot of people holding.

I dont know is its been discussed but CBAI is listed on the ETF Innovators Stem Cell Index. There are allot of Big Board stocks in that index (such as GERN)

I am definitely long on this one, i got in at .0030 - already up about 350% on my original investment . The MM's are just shorting this thing like crazy ... kinda looks like GNTA. Good luck to all

More info on the index :

Shares of Geron (GERN) and other well known stem cell and regenerative medicine stocks such as Osiris Therapeutics (OSIR) and StemCells (STEM) have been soaring since the FDA allowed human clinical testing for Geron's embryonic stem cell treatment candidate for spinal cord injuries.

The accompanying table (click to enlarge) highlights 25 U.S.-listed stem cell and regenerative medicine companies with market caps of below $200M which are included in the ETF Innovators Emerging Stem Cell Index. The companies are also listed below in descending order by market cap.

BioMimetic Therapeutics (BMTI)
Cytori Therapeutics (CYTX)
RTI Biologics (RTIX)
Aastrom Biosciences (ASTM)
Mesoblast (MBLTY)
Neuralstem (CUR)
Osteotech (OSTE)
ThermoGenesis (KOOL)
RegeneRx Biopharma (RGN)
Advanced Cell Tecchology (ACTC)
Pluristem Therapeutics (PSTI)
Athersys (ATHX)
International Stem Cell Corp (ISCO)
Stem Cell Innovations (SCLL)
Bioheart (BHRT)
CellCyte Genetics Corp (CCYG)
Stem Cell Therapeutics (SCTPF)
Brainstorm Cell Therapeutics (BCLI)
Opexa Therapeutics (OPXA)
Stem Cell Authority (SCAL)
Neostem (NBS)
Stem Cell Therapy Internt'l (SCII)
Cord Blood America (CBAI)
MultiCell Technologies (MCET)
LifeStem International (LSTM)

While regenerative medicine holds enormous potential for breakthrough medical treatments, investors and traders should be cautious as the entire space is an extreme momentum trade since the FDA news to allow human testing of embryonic stem cells. President Obama is also expected to lift the federal ban under the previous administration to allow federal funding of stem cell research, providing another boom to these companies.
