I like how everybody is saying they'll know the price...but AAPL is heading back up.

Tomorrow AAPL will open above $0 and close below $1000.

Absolutely agree with this. Just look at this thread and all of these "waiting for AAPL to get back to $xxx.xx so I can sell for break even" comments.

AAPL won't make new highs unless we hear something awesome. The buying volume above the $600 range was massive so we'll either see heavy selling if we get near highs or we'll see volume dry up which isn't good either.

I don't think you need to be a TA expert to see this chart is clearly broken.  Don't need to overthink this one either. If you look at the 1minute this past week if buyers step in it's just met with selling. Not enough buyers at these prices to send this higher.  It's doomed for lower prices, much lower prices.  Even if there are some people that think this stock is "cheap" at these prices it's going to get cheaper.  $450 - $500 I think will get lots of investors to open their wallets again and become buyers into AAPL.

Does it then go on another run to $700? Well, think of all the resistance now up above at $600-625.  These people are praying for that day...

Based upon the chart I posted a few days ago, AAPL is still theoretically in an uptrend as the trend line it's currently sitting upon has been there since late December to February. Unless it breaks below it, I am bullish on AAPL.

Uptrend, downtrend, sidetrend... All the same lol... unless time frame with definition of parameters is stated. Chart is what ever you want it to be........

Here is the main resistance line and the supporting trendline. We're still in an uptrend and unless it breaks the trend line, we're going up.

I don't like APPL long term just because of the nature of technology. It wasn't even 4 years ago when everyone was glued to their crackberrys and look at RIMM now.

But for a trade...

1) That is a very nice looking Bullish Ascending Triangle

2) AAPL continues to populate my best performing screen each week called (believe it or not) "Dirt Cheap"

3) Insiders are coming back here +33%

AAPL is great for the next few years. It's a tech company and cycles change. But for now, don't fight the trend because momentum is with Apple.

If it breaks 550, we´ll see 500 in just a few days..

I was reading that AAPL is coming out with:

1) Their own TV with Internet, FaceTime, Siri, etc (this has already been known).

2) In the next few years their own mobile service (no more iPhones through Verizon/At&t) so people could be getting plans through AAPL.

3) Could be a possible bank. Transactions would be made through iTunes/App Store/etc. so if I want to buy something from you I'll send it to your AAPL account...which therefore would make AAPL a bank as in the money never leaves AAPL.

You never know people...but I'm definitely into AAPL for the long!

1) TV margins are very bad unless Apple can convince people to shell out the extra grand for the almighty iTV. This would not be very profitable compared to their other business models.

2) They would still be using either Verizon's or AT&T's network which could potentially be a money loser factoring all of the new jobs/infrastructure required for this to happen. Not to mention that Apple will have to go from getting $600 for every iphone sold to only $200 to stay competitive with existing carriers (idk what margins are but basically they make money selling phones now but would start losing money selling the phones if they became their own carrier)

3) You mean like Paypal or Google checkout? They already have itunes credit to buy media, I highly doubt they'd go into retail though.

Not saying Apple is a bad company, I just want people to realize that a car dealership can't or at least shouldn't be trying to sell bicycles at the same time.

apple bank..  i dont know about that one

apple tv is going to have a serious price tag.  can the people that buy ipads/iphones still afford a $1000 tv as well?

and in china, will be $1500 or whatever.  i just made up these numbers but i doubt im too far off.

it will have to be a super badass system in order for it to replace peoples 42' LCD tvs with xbox 360 and their laptops synced up with it.

I dont see having Facetime on a TV going to make ppl rush to buy this thing.

competition is at the heels of apple as well..  gonna be tough keeping this growth going over the years

that being said, still good to buy any serious pullbacks in price right now.  but i dont see it being great longterm unless they can find a way to add other streams of revenue.
