AAPL - Apple Inc - Page 606

Who knows? No one can predict the future. The overall market is selling off. It is best to wait for accumulation signals and basing stocks before getting back in.

14$ move from intraday low is lacking volume.

Strong performance from AAPL today, the S&P made a new low today but AAPL held above yesterdays levels and made a new high above yesterdays high. This is very positive for the stock.

I must be missing something here.  The equity is only up .4% on the day.  That's basically flat. I can find a lot of stocks that have done so well today.

Just kinda surprises me to see that.  I'm used to seeing the "Wow, $15 move!" train, ignoring the percentage basis that represents at this level, but the one above I wasn't expecting to see.  Market selloff continues.  I wouldn't add to any positions anywhere right now.

New iPhone coming in a few months, new 7 (aug) and 10 (dec) inch iPads coming in '12

http://www.bgr.com/2012/05/09/apple-iphone-5-new-ipad-pegatron/

The latest rumors out of the Far East indicate that Apple’s next-generation iPhone will launch in the fall, as will a new 10-inch iPad. Apple supplier Pegatron Technology has reportedly landed orders for the Cupertino-based company’s latest handset and according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers, the device is slated for a September launch, Digitimes reported. The publication also claims Pegatron has received orders for a new 10-inch iPad to be released in the fourth quarter of 2012. John Gruber of Daring Fireball has previously called the fourth quarter iPad report “completely made-up nonsense,” however. Pegatron currently manufacturers both the iPhone 4S and the new iPad, but Digitimes claims the long rumored 7-inch iPad, which will supposedly be released in August, will be manufactured by Foxconn.

AAPL's been trading in a tight range the last 3 days. Tested 560 area each day and bounced.

Looking iffy in AH.

IF it gets back down to 560 again, could get dicey. suspicious.gif

Me too. Another test of near 560 with the right reactions will do it for me. GOOG or AAPL. Leaning more towards GOOG, but eh, time will tell.

A little bit cheaper? This thing has been so low for so long that I don't know what more anyone wants. It has very strong support at $560 and it's due for a nice run up now. Should've bought today.

GOOG has been very fun to day trade IMO. Buying calls on the dips and not getting too greedy have amassed me a nice return this week.

Do you believe AAPL will still drop down to the 550 level this week?

It could do that or test the 50ma for another down thrust. I was seeing a tad more reward to the upside technically and fundamentally (for now [directed towards fundamentally]).

I don't know honestly.
