Have you thought about a spread for your first trade, or maybe an option that would be cheaper? You really need to be prepared to lose 100% or put a stop if you are buying a call (you didn't say call or put, but I'm assuming call). Options are very risky and can quickly turn ugly on you.

I will say I am heavy AAPL calls, though I am down considerably. :)

I also have some bull put spreads which I feel much better about.

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

All I can say is, Jan. 705 calls are cheap right now.

Not a bad close for AAPL. Doing alright in AH.

Bruised and a little battered, but not dead yet!

Apple plans to crush carriers and offer direct mobile service, expert says

http://www.bgr.com/2012/05/01/apple-mobile-carrier/

This showed up on a google search, I don't know who this expert is but sounds interesting.. Not sure how feasible this really is..

What a dumb article to be honest.

Yo guys, put AAPL chart on 1hr/1min bars

Now check every day's 3rd candlestick (the 3rd minute after stock exchange opens). It always shows the right direction, at least this last week and for the very short term.

I'll follow that one today.

If you're not a detective in your local police dept you should be. Looks like you been doing a lot of investigating. thumbup.gif

Spain is up today, Apple is up on premarket.

If today it doesn't hit 600, it just wont do it ever again.

Will someone that keeps posting about $600 show me the actual TA side that suggest 600 is a key level? I just want 1 freaking chart that shows it.

600 isn't a significant level, as AAPL has traded above and below quite regularly.

Just a reasonable short term upside target if we get a bounce.

wtf is apple doin

Gap to yesterday's close filled, by just a dime... too perfect.

With 8% of phone sales, AAPL has 73% of sector profits. That's what AAPL's doing. Saw that stat on StockTwits this morning.

markets are bleeding red...apple is staying as it is...

again my no buyers hypothesis and owners not willing to sell

Everybody's waiting on tomorrow's jobs number!

what do u mean?

Better than expected jobs number would be an excuse to push AAPL back up to 600, bad number could knock AAPL lower.
