added another 5K so have a total of 65000 shares at 0.080...

this is actually trading on the canadian exchanges at 0.14 (Canadian), volume of 30M shares, so at an exchange rate of 1.23 CAD to 1 USD, it is at 0.113 cents, US.

We will see if it holds... I think there is a good shot since the canadian government said they werent actually filing for BK, just CCAA...

check out NT.TO here

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=nt.to

and the post on how to see NT.TO on etrade

Re: What symbol is NT trading under in US market? 16 minutes ago
On Etrade, when looking for the quote in Canada, you still use the NT symbol...however, to the right of the symbol, there is a box with an arrow...click the arrow and select CA (Canada)...that will give you the quote

Canadian Industry Minister Tony Clement said in a statement Wednesday that the federal government "appreciates the importance of the telecommunications industry to our economy and will continue to work with Nortel during its restructuring through Export Development Canada."

"EDC has agreed to provide up to $30 million in short-term financing through its existing bonding facility and is open to discussing with Nortel post-filing financing in conjunction with other financial institutions," he said.

"Nortel has stated that it has every intention of emerging from this restructuring under the CCAA as a viable business. We will monitor its progress closely."

I tend to find that the longer the descent to bankruptcy there is, the more that has been factored in, and the more shorts have to cover... these are the plays that are likely to double or triple after bk, imo, and with this news that Canada is not calling it a 'BK' per se, I think the odds are decent here.

But as I like to say,
we will see.
