Is this just daytraders freeing up some money or is there some delay on permit news. Overall its been down over the past week or 2.

It seems like the lasteset news was, their way of saying nothing will happen till next year. This may explain the latest pull back.
Added 8 k more shares today. Im expecting news anytime in the next 2 weeks, which automatically takes this to $5 just on that news alone imo.
Ok, I'm aboard the TIDE boat mates.........in at .81...........sure to be a winner come February
post #5 of 1648
These size stocks I like much much more than the .01-.20 stocks.....much less volatile and much more secure investment..........this will be well over $1 come the next couple months........I think I posted a few weeks back that they weren't expecting the permit approval info till february 2006, but we've been waiting for months on this, so it could happen in January, that's why I'm in this now......also, as we approach the time of the permit info, this will fly on just that rumor alone, so getting in now is a good buy IMO for a mid term hold (1 month) and longer if permit goes thru

Im new to this stock, but already love it.

-Good insider buying
-Good play for the winter, if it remains cold

and i hear you guys think more good news is coming out. Any other dd on this one?

jqizzo-it isnt that we are expecting good news. We are expecting GREAT news!

They are awaiting approval for the largest underground natural gas storage and shipping facility in the world from Mexican authorites. When this comes, just that alone takes this to $5. When building of the facility begins, $20. When it actually begins operations, many are predicting $40 and above.

If this sounds farfetched, look at the stock LNG. They started the same process in the USA 3 years ago, and the stock has gone from around $2 to over $60. And they have yet to begin operations!

Keep in mind that they are also awaiting approval for a floating natural gas storage and shipping facility off the coast. Though that shouldnt be approved until summer.

Just alot going for this one.

Plus, its at a chart trend bottom imo.

This looks very good to me.
The chart is great..........not many times below .80 and with all that is in the air with rumor and coming news, this is due for a nice rise
post #11 of 1648
Once they have the permit possibly, will there be dilution to pay for building the vast gas storage???? If so, would that not make this dip????? Or will the news be so strong that any dilution would be eaten up by the potential or institutional investors????? I would think if so, there would be a slight dip, but then a massive rise..........I mean MASSIVE! Easily over $2 pretty quick, you think???? Any other speculation to add to this mates?????

i agree that this is still a little overpriced. I checked their finacials on yahoo and their ROE is -86% meaning not profitable and other statistics dont look too hot. I believe this will dip a little more until news is out then we may see a 1.50.

Can anyone post the PR news of the company expecting for the permit?
Thanks

I think you're wrong...........this chart has support at .80............it won't go much lower than that with all the news in the air coming on this.
I think 0.80 support will hold. It broke it a few times but with very low volume, so I think it will hold. I think MACD looks VERY bullish. I think it will break out VERY soon, and break above $1.00, where it will bounce between 1.00 and 1.20 where the permit will either make this stock, sending it to new highs, or break it, sending it to new lows.

GL TO ALL, MERRY XMAS, even though I'm Muslim, which is why I'm posting this late on Xmas eve, lol...

So you think there might be dilution in the stock when news comes out? I like this stock around .72... b/c of the warm week ahead prices may take a dip.
I can't say about the dilution, my psychic abilities are not that powerful lol. I know people have emails back and forth, but I honestly I can't believe it, because it's not official. But at 0.80 I think it's a good play, if resistance holds up I'm jumping in, if it breaks 0.80 on volume then I think I'll buy on the way down, until we have reached the ground. I doubt it will go to 0.72, but you never know.

GL

Hopefully the TIDE will turn soon... LOL

Well february will be the month that either breaks or makes this stock, so for now, I think we will see a nice rise during January in folks anticipating the permit news and rumor flying on it..........no doubt, the permit appoval would benefit the mexican people with jobs and I'm sure the government will get its piece of the pie.......I can't see why they would'nt approve of it............of course, there could be delays from changes having to be made if the Gov. required it, which might send this stock down some, but if it's just minor changes, the market may have a mixed reaction becasue some would think they're not approved but technically, if they meet those changes, then the approval would come through..........just some speculation as to how this might play out...........good to think about it now, so we can plan our move ahead for when the news comes out.............I also think there will be alot of rumor flying around on this, but I would pay no heed to it until February........I did some DD on this in another TIDE thread about a month back and posted it on how we won't know till February, but I'm sure we'll get alot of hear say thrown into the mix in January.........this is one we wil have to stay on our toes about because of the explosive potential and good entry point needed, becasue if the news comes, it could jump $1 in one day
post #18 of 1648
If this has so much potential, why is the volume so low?
Volume is low right now because folks are waiting on the news or a new bottom to form and folks know that end of Jan-feb is the month for this, not DEC.

Here is why imo TIDE maybe the best short, mid, and long term hold on the OTC at the moment. The thing with TIDE is we have history to guide us in how this stock will rise if/when these permits are issued. I invite you to all go to the LNG company website and look at their pr's from 4 years ago onwards in their investors relations section (I have posted the link below).

4-5 years ago they too were in the process of getting a large nat gas storage and shipping facility on the gulf. It is kind of cool to go back to when LNG was on the OTC under a different symbol trading for a dollar, and the rise it started to make when each step in the storage facility process was taken. From the permit app., to approval, to financing, to actual construction. That $1 stock recently sold for as high as $90 split adjusted and is now on the big board-and they have yet to produce one iota of gas as construction is still under way.

I guess what Im trying to say is, when this approval is granted with TIDE, we pretty much have a guide to show us what kind of pr's will be issued, how fast they will be issued, and what the stock price will do as a result. Thats why imo, TIDE is just a mammoth, mammoth play here. A play that by early spring could see it at $10, and by 2007 in the $20-$30 range.

Here is the LNG website btw and the pr section, start from 2001 onwards and see how that company has grown, and the exact similiarities to TIDE, its really quite exciting............
