depends what your horizon is, i think its going to continue to grow, and the stock should do well. if u need the money, and want out, this bounce should give you a nice exit window.

TD Ameritrade to buy back up to 12 mln shares

Quote:
NEW YORK, Aug 3 (Reuters) - Online brokerage TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. (AMTD.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Thursday said its board of directors authorized it to buy back up to 12 million shares, or about 2 percent of its shares outstanding.

The buyback covers about $193 million of stock, based on the company's Wednesday closing price of $16.09 on the Nasdaq.

Omaha, Nebraska-based TD Ameritrade said it had 611 million shares outstanding as of July 28. It said it bought back 48 million shares under an earlier buyback program between Sept. 2002 and May 2005.

I closed everything, really because of no direction. Everything that went bad for me was based soley on NEWS.
It has been a while since the market moved on any little tid bit in the news.
So just beware. and check Google news on your positions in the AM and PM

I should have had my sell order in for this morning but I woke up late LOL

I'm only looking for 5% so its almost there.

Got out just now.

Volume is down. Made an OK profit, but I'm pissed I didnt have my sell order in yesterday because I would have sold out at 17.45 during this mornings rally.

i think this one will continue to do well. its had a nice bounce, but was way oversold to start with. amtd continues to bring in good numbers and has announced the buy back. i could see this going over 20$, and for somone with a longer horizon, a good investment.

OK this is one I have financial interest in so I watch it. This chart is a 3 yr.
I use this to show a weekly image of the trading pattern.
In the first yellow area it crossed Resistance and formed a new based now it moved sideways for 45 + trading period. then continued.
To the right it has broken this line of resistance again, looking at the daily can be frustrating to the weak trader but we have very good news.
Now, I say a week trader, because this stock has movement, it is healthy for it to move. Also I believe it will now stay above this line and consolidate before continuing. This is good news for the steadfast investors.

Chan, with the movement of this stock, did you roll up when you bought back your covered calls?

I think it'd be a good move here, considering it could enter some consolidation at this point.
