SLV - Silver ETF & Silver Futures - SI - Page 2

Well I bought in Friday at $129, each share is supposed to be backed by 10 oz of Silver. Silver is just under $14 an oz this weekend. This is a great way to play Silver, most analyst are calling for at least $20 an oz soon.

This pullback in SLV presents a good time to buy into silver if you were looking for a good entry point.

Anyone here trading in and out of SLV? Are the fees deducted (included) in the share price or is your account debited one a year the cost/fees?

I bought in at $134 through my 401K that American Express is managing and now at $146 in just a month. Pretty happy here.

Closed at HOD $147.00

Silver closed at the HOD and is getting close to the 52 week high of $152.50

I got In @ 13.4, slv is 10% behind oil, and 15% behind gld. which has traveled very closely with the 2 over the past 3 years. This is the safest investment I have found in this market in 2 years. What do you regulars think about this investment am I on the right track?

Well with oil production shutting down due to the hurricane in the gulf, oil is going to spike next week, driving stocks down and commidities up This is a no brainer in my book.

I guess this is going to take a couple weeks.
Looks like a real good buy now though.

I got a bunch at 11.34, I think it will reach 18 (at least) by Feb. I'm pretty new to this though... haha. Have any of you guys looked into SVM.TO, GPR, or the like?

boys and girls - great entry time. this has turned into global financial mess will not be solve with in 2 quaters or a year. russians and european countries has turned themselves into silver. precious metal should do well in the next 6 months. gold will dip because dollar will get stronger as time goes on compare to other currency.

if the europeans are stocking up with silver.. why cant we... look at the crazy volume. im in.

sorry can't post a chart right now, but I just looked - SLV and silver are going down more IMO. I will be buying someday soon, but not within the next week as it will go lower.

Up 29 cents today.
