I do, I am happy with them. My orders are always go right though unless there is tons of activity on the stock, then it coculd take a minute or two.

I've been using Ameritrade and I'm very happy with it. 10.99 flat commisions no matter how many shares etc.

If you want a cheaper alternative ($5) try Izone. It's run by ameritrade but costs less because you don't get free L2's and some other things. You can of course pay for those extras. So if you are going to make a lot of trades go with izone if not stick with Ameritrade.

Check your etrade thread. I found a way around the 10k limit...

I like ameritrade.. works great.. no complaints

I am a happy Ameritrade customer overall. I placed a wire transfer this afternoon with Compass Bank and it was in my account that same afternoon.

My only complaint is that once they executed my order and it never showed in my holdings, but it was quickly refunded and they gifted me 10 free trades for the mishap.

The only problem is that, on pennies, it won't let you trade extended hours (pre or after)
It was my understanding that OTCBB's & Pinkies do not trade pre & after hours. Only ones allowed to trade during these hours are MM's that trade amongst each other (which to me, is BS but thats a different story).

Also, I love Ameritrade. I've never had any major problems with them. In fact, I just received my free L2's & streaming news last night after only opening up my account a month ago. What a difference between night & day! Customer service is 24 hours, 7 days a week. Can't beat that man.

i love ameritrade, there customer support is great, they upgraded me to apex in less then a month too.
customer support? ok when you send an email to them how long it takes them to

reply? etrade will take 2 days sometimes to respond to an email with a damn

stupid reply that represents some employers lazy to work and do their job

and still yet they didn't open my account the damn b!st@rd$

Ameritrade Phone support is 2000% better. That number, is not a lie. It is actually 2000% better. I have been on the phone with etrade brokers about 13 times. The least amount of time I had to wait prior to speaking with a broker was 45minutes. I have called Ameritrade about 5 times, and after the phone rings I am usually on with a Broker in about 2-5 minutes.

As of trading. Ameritrades routing is not as good as Etrades. This only matters for high Momentum stocks. I have just found that it takes alot longer for Ameritrade to fill my order both buying and selling.

If I had to choose whiceh two companies to go with? I would go with Etrade, only because I prefer faster routing over better Customer service, any day of the week

Thanks for answering Questions guys!

what does that mean? how do you get upgraded?
I have used ameritrade for years now never any issues....and you can get upgraded to apex if you make i think its 5 trades per month for 3 months...not hard to do but then again apex doesnt really help with ob stocks

well I definetly do that, is it automatic or do I need to contact customer service?

So I was upgraded to APEX.

Downloaded the Advanced Analyzer. Installed it. Tried to login and it asks for some account number and PIN that used to subscribe. Well, I just went to "Advanced Analyzer" from the menu, click subscribe, and it shows AA in the subscribed list, and now shows me a link to download. So I don't have any account number and PIN.

So I tried using my Ameritrade credentials. It says "Invalid". And if I try 3 incorrect ones, it will lock my account. Well, I'd rather not have the Advanced Analyzer for a couple more days while figuring out the login than to lock my account.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.

Well, they should automatically upgrade you. I mean, I've only been trading for a couple of months and was thinking that after next month I'm gonna call them to see what's up. But they already sent me an email early this week or late last week that I was upgraded to APEX and what a privilege they think it is for traders to be APEX blah blah blah. I mean you'd almost be convinced to buy Ameritrade stock after hearing their speech on it.

When you login do you see this in the top left corner?
