I hope this is the start of things here. Nice day currently up .58 trading at 7.09.

I'm glad to see this myself. I bought into MU Friday afternoon and was going to post here to get some reassurance. Had a pleasant surprise today.

Do you plan on holding this long term or what do you think is a good target price?

Actually this one has me a bit scared.

Charts are or had been oversold a bit and with a P/E of around 5 it seems to easy. But they say buy fear and everyone is or had been affraid of Tech for a bit. Down 30+% for the year when I made my purchace, and I was originally looking for 15% or so by years end. Rough target 7.85+ If we get there I probably sell half if I havent already. Hopefully this little squeeze wakes up some buyers.

The less time I hold a stock the happier I am. Good luck hopefully we can make a few bucks here.

I will add that closing above the 20day was nice to see.

What are your thoughts about the possibility we might be a hair early? No real signs of Capulation. So maybe we get a nice bounce now then we find a Real bottom or a double bottom, at which time loading up would be my plan.

Keep in mind Earnings are up tenatively 9/29/10. Last 5 quarters have beat expectations but the Markets dont seem to care. At the current trading range I cant help but think another Earnings beat will send this flying.

Nearing it's 52 week low with the Nov '09 bounce at around the same price, is what attracted me to this one on Friday. S&P, The Street, and others had recent reports with relatively positive sentiment and price targets at $9, even $12.

Anytime the whole sector rallies as much as it did today I expect a pullback tomorrow, but MU definitely outpaced the sector. And without much in the way of news/press releases indicating a specific cause. I think other people had the same realization we did, hopefully even more people now that it has caused a stir.

If it does pull back again tomorrow more than a few percent I will be unsure about whether it has hit bottom yet but for now I'm optimistic. If it again gains another few percent then it'll be very very interesting... I will be unsure of but focusing on where I want to exit.

Micron is the last stock they mention, with the most impressive claims: Median target $13.56, Implied upside 107%. I didn't know if I would be in this for more than a few percent but I did not expect this kind of attention.

Raw DR we might be on to something here. Its early but MU trading up nicely with a HOD at 7.22 in a slightly down Market.

Keeping my fingers crossed.


We have some resistance above at 7.26 I believe so I decided to take profits on half at 7.23 looking to re-enter lower before we break that resistance.

Just let the rest go, forgot I had a Bracket set on my second buy. 7.34

Nasty Downgrade this morning. Goldman to Nuetral from Buy and cut Price target from 12 to 7.85.

I will be waiting to see the effects of this and also to see if anymore downgrades come before re-entering.

Anyone agree this is getting oversold? 2 downgrades in 1 week (both are over the current share price) is kind of brutal, and coincides with expiration week, kind of odd.

...........i got a handful of MU @ 6.53 last week and looks like i should of sold on tues........OH WELL!! guess i'm holding this one for a while.....................

Thats exactly why I bought recently. But the Downgrades in Price Target have been severe. 1 from 12 to 7.85 the other from 9 to 7. Could be an Earnings lotto though. Short or Long at current Price. I may choose a side.

Definitely could be a 'conspiracy' to walk the price down before earnings (like what happened with MPEL) but, the stock market is like Santa Claus, it works in magical ways.

Ah, what a beautiful green candle today. I wish I added more on yesterdays lows. Is anyone holding over the weekend? My position is small enough that I'm reluctant to take any off the board before earnings (or Oracle announces what they're buying).

^^^ sold half my holdings in MU today at 7.19 for a little green......holding the other half to see what's gonna happen next week.......dont think oracle is gonna be picking up MU but what do i know........

I know there's little to no chance of it, but if the rumor drives people to buy, I see no reason in questioning it.

Same. I'm up 10% now on a small position, still holding. The Oracle buzz helped indirectly but MU's got its own thing going on anyway.

Yup, I'm expecting earnings to bring this stock out of the slump it (and most tech stocks) have been in. P/E ratio of 4.6 with and expected earnings of $.40 per share? Please.

Nice triple bottom setting up, def taking call options.
