i get to call in tommorow and ask about ICE

Mad Money is my favorite investing show by far though. I originally saw it on the new movie Fun With Dick and Jane and thought it was funny so i started watching it. He gives extremely good advice and is worth the whole hour

StockJock-e & all others - also did you guys notice the positive divergence on the MACD?

Would it be safe to assume looking at the chart that barring any bad scandals, this stock might return to it's previous highs eventually? Like in high 30s or even 40+?

I'm gonna stop posting before someone gets ticked at all the MACD divergences I point out.

Hehe!

I'm "paper-trading" buying it at $16.06 (according to bigcharts). 100 shares! Let's see.

why the big drop on snda?

I dont know, I'm not in it yet, but it looks good, just not yet...

Purely, from a technical point of view:

SNDA
52week range: 14.80 - 43.28
Last Trade: 15.9999

And the positive divergence in MACD, and the bullish crossover in MACD around mid-dec all point that this should only go up from here. Even if it takes a little time.

That's why I "paper-trade" bought it. I'm down %0.44, though. But let's wait.
Positive divergences are probably the least common of the three signals, but are usually the most reliable and lead to the biggest moves.

SNDA has some serious buying spikes in the last hour of trading today, either short covering or some positions being taken for a possible break out. Tomorrow will tell.

WOW!

Did they give you a reason why you couldnt? Because my theory is he is going to do a SPECIAL ON IT. Or he is buying it, or going to buy it himself, perhaps. BECAUSE he cant mention a stock he has bought or sold after he talks about it on his show for 5 days...

Here's what Jim Cramer had to say about some of the stocks that callers offered up during the "Mad Money Lightning Round" Thursday evening:

UPS (UPS:NYSE - news - research - Cramer's Take): "I know it's been a laggard. ... I think UPS because of the labor problems is gonna be flat-lined at 75."

Beazer Homes (BZH:NYSE - news - research - Cramer's Take): "The Beaz man hit a 52-week high. It's the only housing stock on the 52-week-high list. ... I still wouldn't sell it because it's in all hot markets."

UnitedHealth Group (UNH:NYSE - news - research - Cramer's Take): "The stock has been down two out of the last three days. ... That's why you buy UNH. Don't forget, I own it for ActionAlertsPLUS, the charitable trust.

Grant Prideco (GRP:NYSE - news - research - Cramer's Take): "I still like that stock. ... For the drillers like Grant Prideco, it is still two thumbs up, one way up."

Dendreon (DNDN:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "I want you out of that train wreck, that House of Pain. It's up a dollar from where they did the secondary."

TradeStation (TRAD:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "That is a House of Pleasure. My buddy [research associate] Will "Slim" Gabrielski has been telling me that's the horse to be on."

Birch Mountain (BMD:Amex - news - research - Cramer's Take): "The stock has just been completely hammered. ... I'm blessing the stock, and even though it's Canadian, I'm giving it the Stars and Stripes." (Cramer then plays the John Philip Sousa score.)

OraSure (OSUR:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "I think OraSure is not done going down. I think you're gonna see 8 bucks before we're finished (going down)."

Sonus (SONS:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "My friend ... I need you out of that stock, and I don't even want you to wait until the show is over."

Intuitive Surgical (ISRG:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "I now want to ring the register. I think ISRG has overstayed its welcome on the 52-week-high list. I feel the same on ISRG as I did on ELOS (Syneron Medical). ... In other words, ring the register."

Computer Sciences (CSC:NYSE - news - research - Cramer's Take): "The takeover we predicted on this show looks like it's about to happen. Don't ring the register."

Disney (DIS:NYSE - news - research - Cramer's Take): "I love the theme parks; the movies are terrific. The stock's the ultimate bowwow."

Adobe Systems (ADBE:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "Adobe's good. It's one of my favorite pleasant tech stocks. ... Don't forget CRM (Salesforce)."

Paccar (PCAR:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "Buy the stock at 71. Sell it at 77. ... New engine rules start next year. Good for Paccar."

Arena Resources (ARD:Amex - news - research - Cramer's Take): "Too speculative. ... This is not the year for speculative oil and gas plays."

Flir Systems (FLIR:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "That stock shouldn't be owned. ... "It's in thermal imaging," which Cramer doesn't like currently.

Ford (F:NYSE - news - research - Cramer's Take): "Absolutely not," Cramer replied when asked if the automaker could turn it around.

Harris & Harris (TINY:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "Too much of a black box. Venture capital fund. Don't really know what they own."

Albertson (ABS:NYSE - news - research - Cramer's Take): "You don't need to be in that second-rate supermaket chain that couldn't sell itself."

Flanders (FLDR:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "I like Flanders; it's been a dog."

Whole Foods Market (WFMI:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take): "I need you to buy Whole Foods, and stick with it. If it drops down 2 bucks, you do a 'mon back*."

That is very interesting in deed. I wondered if he did something like that so that he could free himself up for some buying. Anybody do his ActionsAlertsPlus?

He aslo mentioned PGNX Progenics Pharmaceuticals Inc

its up 9% today. Something im going to go long on. Something about a new drug comming out that acts like morphine but has less sides, also works on an HIV cure. But Jim said thats in the future here along with a prostate cancer cure, he said he would give you that info for free

I believe he said something about them having a sale on a drug that will double sales from last year. Dont quote me, I didnt download this from his website so im not sure.

Looks like a good one though, he spent a lot of time talking about it yesterday.
