my cost basis is 585.05 so im way underwater. This is the 4th down day in a row and its gone down 100 dollars since the high in january.

Im an idiot and holding on, i want to sell at least 590 but i just dont see that happening.

Anyone know the reason it dropped 2 percent today?  I have been looking online and i cant seem to find any bad news.

Any chance this stock pulls a netflix?

No, but don't be surprised if it eventually is hitting 520-540. Testing the 200ma on the daily and the 50ma on the weekly. Support may hold or it may not.

If it does go lower, look for initial support @ the 200MA (562.35).  I really don't understand why you're willing to hold for over 4% of downside and willing to sell for under a 1% gain, being down 15pts on GOOG here is a pretty high quality problem in my opinion.

I was just looking at a Google daily chart, and noticed a tri star.

Always good sign for a stock to fill a gap, but could see a test of support down at last gap up around 590$.

No one knows when the day will happen, but when the Nasdaq and all major indices decide to sell-off 3%, we will be seeing GOOG re-testing 580's and AAPL at the 460-475's (depending on people's own perspective of "support").  GOOG has been hovering flat for some time now, and a break to other side (more often down than up) will be occurring.  Good buying opportunity when it does though.

After buying my GOOG stake on the IPO the first day of trading I sold most of it last week.

2 missed quarters and what I view as a ton of frivolous money being spent of dead end projects has led me to believe the major growth is done.  I still kept a few shares to hold forever but I am moving the money on.

I thank the company for the 500% return, but I just dont sense its as strong a prospect as I always believed it would be.  I actually intended to wait until 1000 to sell but I've given up the wait.

Sounds way ahead of it's time, like something out of Judge Dredd or Total Recall. With the horrible traffic jams I go through everyday even though it is more inconvenient I would like to see innovations for collective transport. Maybe if the car drives itself I could stick a bed in there to get another hour of sleep in route to work which is 7 min away with no traffic.
