I have been meaning to make this post for a while now...Anyway, here are the filters I have found useful on microcaptrade in the past...Feel free to use tham and I hope they make you all some good $$$...These filters are a mixture of Dardadog's old filters, some friends, and several of my own!!

Premarket:

I usually wake up around 8 am and like to get an idea of what nasdaq plays are popping off so I use this filter:

I will typically use that one until about 8:45-9am and then I will switch to the Gappers filter to see which otc stocks are getting premarket action:

I typically monitor those two and get a nice idea what I want to play at the open by monitoring them and the news feed on MCT...Around 9:28 or so I would open a new filter to get an idea of what is popping at the opening of market...

These three filters are how I determine what the market is going to be like that day...

Beyond that there are several other filters you can use intraday to find different types of plays:

I typically use these two throughout the day and jsut watch to see which stocks are active:

Sometimes I am looking for a stock for a quick trade that is volatile but still liquid...This type of stock is your typical large promotion campaign or stock with some nice news..Look through the charts on these stocks maybe you can find a nice 5-10% play:

Sometimes I look for a bottom play and these two filters help me to find a bouncer...These are good to use in a strong market where a stock really shouldn't have fallen much and is likely to bounce back...Caution do not try to play these for a huge bounce and use at your own risk

Subbers:

Sometimes a stock that gaps will pullback to its closing price and "fill the gap" this is a useful filter to play these type of gap plays...I will be honest I have not seen much of this type of action the past couple of months though:

At the end of the day or sometimes late at night I will do a few full day scans and check out what was hot that I may have missed:

This one I call big movers because it will show only a few stocks that had a nice move that day and will be trading a lot the next day...If you are using the previous filters u should be seeing these stocks pop on the momentum filters throughout the day:

This is another variation by a trader I knew from about a year ago named VIPER:

All in all I have found that using the KISS rule will make your life a lot easier when it comes to using microcap filters...I hope everyone enjoys these posts and can benefit some from them...

Not sure what Etrade's tools include but I'll post my favorite features.

-The filter; I run very basic scans and flip through hundreds of charts every night. It's setup so you can click on the ticker from the list and it'll instantly open up in the chart montage window. I can view hundreds of charts in a very short time.

-L2s; pretty much essential if you want to trade penny stocks

-Audio Alert system; create audio alerts for stocks when they hit certain prices (other parameters to use as well)

-Top 400; Shows you the top 400 for the day (real time) for price. # of trades, percentage increase/decrease, etc.

-Trading alerts; a streaming list monitoring for different criteria like new 52 week highs, lows, block trades, etc.

The thing about Microcap is that it's geared strictly for otc/otcbb stocks.

for the trial you still have to enter cc data.

plus it says you will be billed 79.95 monthly.

And NASDAQ Stocks under $5.

Also, the News Filter is what I fine to be one of the best tools of MCT.

Ok I've been playing around with micro feed so far seems easy to use.

I have been running the filter suggested here 500% increase of volume. also since we do not have a lot of cash in our acct I've selected stocks between .01 and .20 cents.
Some of the stocks I click on have a price change of only 1/2 a cent. which means you'd have to buy over 1000 shares to make $100.
My question is this. Is there a way for the filter to give you stocks that have a difference say of 2cents or more from the Days High compared to the Low?
The change Action seems to do close to what I want.

I am interested in Metical1's MCF filters but the image links are dead. Any chance of getting them back?
