NFLX - Netflix - Page 86

i  think it would be a good long here or wait to see if it breaks the 60 and then i would watch 50.. things are already turning.. but this would be a long for a long time eh. They still have customers and just because they issued notes and said they will have funding trouble in 2012 doesnt phase me too much. Could recover by Q1 or 2... inherit on market performance.

NFLX on strong support at 74ish level.  Look for it to break either way on high volume.

I don't think it can unless they lower their prices and gain back all of the customers, including me, they lost. I can see this hitting $0 before it hits $300 to be honest.

i feel it's over-valued, they're dealing some dissatisfaction from Q4 and now they are up against new streaming services from other companies such as Amazon.

I just dont see how traders got this to $300/share. I just dont see how!

Their prices are not unreasonable, and I only pay to stream anyway for $9/month.

Even at $18/month its a steal for streaming movies and tv shows. Compare that to 3 new release movies at blockbuster for $16 and your done for the month, no streaming, no tv shows period.

So people who complain for $9/mo then they need to recheck their finances.

IMO, netflix only got to $300 a share on the shareholders' sentiment that it will be the "next big thing". After the rate hikes and the new Qwikster, this was just not happening. I dont like their management too much either- seeing that Reed has been known to be make hasty decisions. Their contract with Starz is also almost up. I would wait to see how that goes. However, if a deal between Verizon goes through this stock could soar.

calls up 2500% at one point EoD, not bad.

Not going to lie, $75 puts for Jan/Feb are peaking my interest. The whole Yahoo potentially buying them overextended itself IMHO.

+6%, NFLX being a champ today!

calls are up about 5000% now from the "entry point"

weekly 80's if anyone wasn't sure

This is crazy... had traded NFLX back in september and mistakenly didn't close out my position completely... just found out today.... don't trade my Interactive Brokers account that much and missed this...  I'm short -42 shares from an average price of 197.18... what dumb luck, lol.
