What are the best time of day, week and months to buy stocks? I know some of you might say it's random but there has to be a statistic history or something
best time of day, week and months to buy stocks
There doesn't have to be crap. Best time of day? Is when you are thinking clearly. I trade when it is best for me and when I see an enter point.
If your buying/selling by the day I would say the first and last few hours would be the most volatile. Watch out for company realeases, earnings, etc. I believe statistically they say October is the best month for scooping up funds. Then there's adages like "Sell in May and go away"....being the summer duldrums. Thats all I got off the top my head...
haha, who edited all this? Should have left it. Guy probably already read the "garbage" (that better?) posts and thought he could get the same treatment on any of the thousand other stock forums. I think ichi's is a shot too.....he doesnt trade stocks...
Dont mind me....tsla is just really grinding my gears today....
I edited it and it wasn't because of "sh1t".
Trying to get people to feel welcome.
Asking what are the best times to trade is a serious and valid question.
Because in fact, there are better times to trade than others IMO.
e.g. If I'm a weekly swing trader, why would I open my swing on Thursday?
I'm looking to open it Monday or Tuesday and close by Friday.
I believe that the beginning of each cycle, especially for swing trading (tops and bottoms),
are the best times to enter a trade. Time is a very important element in trading.
november - april historically is to buy.
selling done in may - october.. a pattern's that has existed since i think the 16th century..
I agree about the first 2 hours of the open, although I prefer the first hour. Just because it normally slows down in the afternoon until power hour.
I don't have any preference to weekly/monthly time frames. Any day of the week is fine to me. Friday's can be slow though, especially going into long weekends.
