Looks like Clarus iceburg selling at $1.14. Have sold 54,200 over the last two days. Anyone have visibility into the size of the iceberg? Likely 100,000...hopefully not bigger.
Woohoo! More worldwide death and destruction and gold has now bounced above the value ($635) MGI used in their calculations to price NSM. If Jazmine's gut feel is right this time (it has to be right eventually, doesn't it?), I'm buying the beer (limit one per poster) ;-).
does anyone know who this seller is at 1.14. they must be running low on shares by now.
Clarus has sold 136,200 over the last 3 days. Who knows, maybe they have 150k or 200k...hopefully not more.
Icebergs sure make it tough to read the momentum of a stock. Frustrating. Last week it was Orion keeping a lid on things, selling 500k or so. Frustrating. We need MGI back in the buying game to take this guy out!!!
Re:
july 13, 2006, BRR (joint venture 50% , the malartic break and Revillart, announcement with NSM...) anyone with some real knowledge like to comment, as this makes me groan again... why should NSM shareholders be happy?
David Micheal has sold 25.000 shares in the last 2 weeks. Anyone have any indication for it knowing that results could come out in a week ? For spending money isn't really an answer. Thats a whole lot of shares.
No, it's not. For someone in his position that's peanuts. He still holds over 1 million shares. To cash in a few shares for something specific (yes, even spending money for a new car or something) is hardly uncommon. It may also be that he simply likes to play the market. If you look at his history, you'll see he buys and sells similar amounts every month.
By the way, it's Michel David.
There's no real way to tell why he's buying and selling the amounts he does, or the timing of them. But I still think the amounts in question are nothing to be concerned about one way or the other. Over the past year he's increased his overall holdings from about 800,000 shares to over a million, with constant little ripples from the minor trades he makes. Like I said, he may just like to dabble with the daily and weekly price changes. It may have specific purpose, it may just be a hobby. Really no way to know without knowing him personally.
Richard Silas (a director) sold 40,000 shares 6 weeks ago and has been buying again since then. I think in many ways they're like us and just like to play the stock market a bit.
IMO he can do what he likes ,but us share holders are definitely aware of his transactions. And for this we become somewhat hesitant on why he's selling and not why he's selling. I hope he needed the ,money for something good like taking his wife out for dinner or something.
I really hope this stock busts out soon so Big n Rich can cash out and stop sweating and stressing every minute of the day on this stock.
Everything looks pretty solid on the long term prospects of this company, and these little hiccups are just that. Good to be aware and observe things but not to overreact and over speculate on the meaning of every detail or dip/run etc. You'll prematurely stress yourself out doing that! Enjoy the ride and the fact that your in a good stock early.
Volume is up a bit today with CIBC buying. Carus continues to stifle any momentum with what appears to be another iceberg at $1.10. Oto, can you confirm whether there are multiple icebergs on the ask please?
Also, anyone have confirmation whether the company is in NY, Boston, Chicago doing roadshow this week?
