Post #1 Ready to go with our starting point.

Little late this week and I've decided I will manually close the poll Sunday night before I goto bed. I just don't dig the whole GMT time so I'll do it myself.biggrin.gif

Good job to the Up voters. I missed some credit after webchris (ran out.... now that's bad karma). I think the down voters should do it (good karma)laughing.gif

I vote down. Market is up and fiscal cliff worries will continue.....tax sell off continues.  I think monday might be up, but rest of week down.

Depends on timing of news and how fast and far it goes up monday.

However, if they keep the fake good news rolling of a deal close to being reached, we may see the market go up some more, but my hunch is the market won't buy it, until they see some real ground being agreed on.

IMO,the dollar goes lower and markets climb higher. The last time I went against the dollar, trades went against me.This time I will go with what I see,so,I vote up.

Up! Until December 15th or whatever I'm a bull. We'll be having the large funds emptying onto gullible Santa Rally bulls for a couple weeks then we'll see massive drops amid failure of congress to reach any deals on the tax cut extensions/fiscal cliff.

well, i'll say that move up last week was pretty powerful certainly didn't expect over a 3.5% pop in a week, but eh, i'm awfully suspect of such a large move as volume was crap, obviously because of the holiday-shortened week... i'm not a believer that we've bottomed on this move down just yet... i do think think this was largely a dead cat bounce... but we shall see... the charts appear as if they're attempting to heal themselves from the ravage left from the bears... but, eh... as one person once best put it, the horns don't fit me, and they're giving me one helluva headache... so... i vote for down please mark. thnx. that was a huge move last week, a little too much for my liking imo on really nothing... fluff as i like to call it... the bounce will need to prove itself...

If large funds are emptying on bulls, then the market would go down because of selling pressure, so then, there would be no rally.....unless you're a conspiracist and think the market is fixed, then this would not work

Well no. They aren't stupid. They'll empty out as much as they can without the market falling. They've got much better tools to judge pressure than us.
