i wanted to go FLAT.. but i think it will be slightly down....

 

Voted. ( a month early)

 

Also who decided flat is 1.5% ... it should be within the confines of 1% regardless of time span.

that makes me raise an eye brow as a 1.5% is a decline, but yes in the end its the perception of the person.

 

Edit: Ah i see what you did, .5 per month.. but i think flat should be capped at 1%...   i mean that is flat right? anything over is a move?...

Thoughts?

Thanks MJ, I'm ok with 1%. I wasn't sure about 1.5% either. I cannot edit the wording in the poll, but I'll just say that I will go along with the 1% or less.

Voted down. I just cant see how we juice this economy any more.

 

Next year I'm really bearish. We are going to have to pay for this at some point and I think we will end up with higher taxes,  super high interest rates and no growth similar to what we had in the 70's.

lol..think i'll wait a few weekson this one....im sure if we are up 20% from here come oct 1st that would influence my thinking...as weel if we are down 20% at that time as well...or anything in either direction in a signifigant way wink.gif

okay, i'm in now.... voted down.

 

i was quite bullish for q4 of last year if some of y'all remember, but i think this year will be different... we've already had an impressive run up to this point, unlike last year this time when we were hitting our lows for the year... what's it been up 11 of the past 12 months for the dji? we haven't seen that kind of stretch in like 50 years i believe... that is what i called grossly over extended. i know we've got all the major holidays coming up this q, but i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that we do not see the santa rally this year... it's been an incredible run for the bulls no doubt. and we def. overshot my high targets for the year. but i think that'd be all she wrote for now. the high that we put in on the 14th might stand to be the hoy... we shall see. should see some monster volatility these next 3 months imo. could be the most exciting quarter in terms of market moves that we'll see since 2008-09. bring it on.
