"freeride" voilation. Do the voilations expire?

Scottrade account;  If I had two freeride violations about 2 years ago, can I do one now and only get another warning?

The reason I ask, is the last one I got (2 years ago)  they told me if I got another one, my account would be suspended for 90 days.  I'm wondering if the freeride warning count drops off over time?

If they suspend you, just take your money and move to a competitor. Scottrade has to stick to their policies, and if that policy says to suspend you for 90 days then they will, but nothing can stop you from wiring out your funds to etrade or thinkorswim or interactivebrokers who will be more than happy to have you.

Thanks, stockjock-e

I'm wondering if the warnings expire. The last one I got was 2 years ago.

Maybe something like "you can get 2 warnings per year without being suspended" or something like that?

Im not really sure about their policy, you would need to ask the broker, but it would make sense that there would be some time limit.
