Stock Market Today : Aug 27th - 31st - Page 21

Wow, gold with the perfect stop hunt reversal, and also a picture-perfect 5 min tight bullish pennant breakout into the 1680s. Cruise control set, dee-lish.

ED: Silver did not have the same bullish pattern, it was lagging... now it might have just capped today's metals upside at the top of its less bullish flag-ish pattern.

I am adding to my shorts hedges on this bounce (qqq puts). No qe3 means bounce to lower highs. I am holding fb long term. Will only significantly if it hits 17. Adding more mcp shares here. Mcp look like its building for the next leg up.

MS has been a good play and I'm still holding at 12.80. The stock is still severely undervalued at these levels. Could see 30 long term. Just noting it for people who want a financial in their portfolio with low risk/high reward.

Did you factor in the 162 million shares of FB they're holding

Gold now banging into the primary downtrend line off the 2011 ATH. When this happened in March, gold suffered a vicious smackdown. I would anticipate a pullback off the level, and then a secondary attempt which could well punch through. We shall see. Interesting development to be sure.

That would be a none-factor as they hold so many different equity positions. The only things I factor in are their net tangible assets, stock holder equity, and their peg ratio which makes them cheap long term.

there's been rumors/talk that MS is setting up to go under since earlier this summer.. some ppl higher up have been looking to relocate... just rumors for now.. but where there's smoke there's fire..

Supporting that FB IPO must have been as pleasant as a napalm enama.

i think the big thing about the FB fiasco is that they lost alot of customers trust.. no one likes to feel like they got ripped off..

Those rumors have been flying since last summer lol, and if you believe in these rumors then short the stock at your own expense.

SPY just dipped under 141 again; went ahead and picked up a few weekly calls at $.25 for a daytrade, see if we continue to bounce between the high and lows of the week.

Just risking a very small amount for a gamble though - no TA here other than assuming we're still rangebound.
