Lol, and I was confident that Flat Base was gonna hold. Looks like my prediction sprung a leak, as well as the formation...

right down to the next bulkhead at the bottom of the last Flat Base.

And you were indecisive, but looks like your gonna be correct.

I think that's telling me your worst guess is better than my best guess.laughing.gif

 

Looks like da bears are gonna get this one, no way to get my predicted weekly star doji unless we get a good pop Friday.

I was indecisive in the thread but I presented my jewels on the table for all to see.

I never know wtf is going on but I'm more than happy to show my position. 

I learned this from a stripper, once. banana.gif maybe twice.

dang this ended up being very close... looks like the downs just got this one at -.50% though i do think the flats should get some recognition as well... that was about as close as it gets. kudos to the downs. perhaps we can get finally a nice streak going...? maybe one more week left of this chop... then we finally get some good action? september is just 'round the corner...

Shame on Bloomberg for this blatantly manipulative, deceptive headline today:

 

 

U.S. Stocks Rise as Bernanke Sees ‘Scope for Further Action’ on Economy

 

which makes it sound like this is a breaking statement from today, when in fact if you read beyond the headline, you discover that this was pulled out of a letter received Aug 22nd; who knows when it was actually penned by Bernanke, could have been several days ago.  Pushing old news as new, create a splash on a sensitive topic, feed the hopium.  Boo.

(The reason I mention it is because I think it helped spur a bit of the rally we saw today.  Not that I'm against the rally, I have both long and short positions; it just irritates me.)
