07- what do you think of BIDU puts?

huge volume on the RIMM $8 AUG calls, either someone knows something. perhaps a buyout, because those calls are way out of the money, like 16% move in 3 weeks is rare.

CLWR December 2.00x calls. Someone just bought 14,000 contracts at the ask of .15 in one block.

$210,000.

Guessing they're looking for a run back up in CLWR after their earnings last night and Sprint's comeback.

Don't like it right now for puts, but let's keep this thread to the unusual activities only.

All the volume on those today are small buys. But yesterday someone bought a ton.

They bought 9,910 contracts in 2 seconds all at the ask of .13 yesterday. $128,830

Could be a hedge for a large short position. 15% of the share are short or something high like that

On OptionsMonster now:

Clearwire (CLWR): More than 28,000 December 2 calls were purchased for $0.15 as investors look for upside in the share price. CLWR rose 8.96 percent to $1.10.

Not playing, just watching.

Ya.  It fit my 30ema/Creek/Divergence parameters that I like.  That 13.00 level is basically the next value area based on my volume profile ($13.50 to be exact), also slightly above the daily R2 pivot.

Big buying on ROVI August puts. Earnings are next thursday, I'm gonna play these next week.

555 contracts bought on the 15x puts at 2.40 in 2 seconds worth $133,200

And another 445 contracts bought 8 seconds later at 2.50 in a second worth $111,250

Looks like the same buyer for 1,000 contracts total.

I'd be leery man ..... The weekly chart has a huge seller's climax of 50+ million shares with a stop volume right on long term historical support.  Keep in mind that is almost 50% of the 107 million float.  Those puts might be for protection.  Someone could've set up a huge position admidst the selling.  There is also major positive divergence on the daily.  The stock is currently trading under it's $15.85 BV.

But that volume was from last week's downgrades. It was downgraded by 3 different firms last week which caused that huge drop from $17 to $10. Now it's back into the $13's trying to fill that gap....

I'm only gonna bet small on it so not worried if it loses. This is just experimenting for me.
