World markets all green today,  Oil is past 90,  IBM posted good numbers yesterday, Euro is stable., Corn and Soy moving up.  Corn almost to $800..

With Housing numbers and other economic numbers coming it, might be a green day.  But its too much good news so were definitely crashing down

Gas prices climbed almost 10 cents in the last few days here in FL
I think it's due to corn prices gone wild.

Corn touches almost every product we use.

Corn just hit 810 on Globex

Had some kind of patent news.  Verizon earnings prolly helping the industry too today.

 

These were like 10-baggers btw .....sickening.  Anyone with the patience to wait 3 weeks after someone took out that bull spread made a ton of dough.  Wish I had that kind of patience.

Anyone else get into some EDU this morning?  I love the Muddy Waters fraud allegations plays.  This happens almost every time.

 

You know damn well the company is buying back shares at these levels.  It's almost like Muddy is the "reverse promo" guy they pay to make this happen.

QQQ's left without me

Bigger price (not regression) channel off the $50 high from last year. That channel is forming a desc triangle, publicly observed here numerous times... so a squeeze could run into headwinds and be a fakeout before a move lower, but I would think a good move up would finally get some traction for metals and miners. I've been slowly adding miners in the kids' college account along the way (as you would probably have guessed/known already) so hopefully up is real move and not just another fakeout before these get sold off even lower. Really like AG, SSRI, CDE at these prices and even PAAS despite their political/regulatory battles in South America (PAAS might be for just the very, very patient among us).

 

 

Reached 138 this morning, closed above that wedge yesterday. I'll be grabbing puts for next week if we can reach SPY 138.50-138.60. Still looking for a pullback to 1360's after that.

 

Textbook man.  Although why on earth didn't I look at the options along with buying shares?

 

They did this to FMCN a while back too.

Also nat gas looking great.  Weekly storage #'s were:

 

Lower than expected

Lower than 5 year avg (much lower)

Lower than last week

 

Bring on that special report of "no build" and watch the top blow off. 

This market is looking resilient, dips still getting bought up.
