Ok we filled the gap..Now lets see maybe the 9 billion dollor loss has grown.
Its funny how there's people who spend years getting Phd's but in the end its all about the usefulness and demand of that skillset. I'm surprised how many electricians and plumbers who tell me I have to wait a few days to fix a problem charging $100 an hour.
US Govt usually pays pretty well for anyone with a higher degree like a Phd....except they're not hiring right now...but the economy is just fine...
You lucky only a few days i waited 2 years for a contractor to do my roof it was a small job and most contractors did not want to do it so they quoted twice as much so my choice was get ripped off or wait,so i waited...
sounds like AC guys here in Florida...they know they have you by the testicles when your AC breaks down, so they take at least 6 hours to come over so you'll be willing to pay ANYTHING to fix it by the time they get there.
I guess space programs and defense use a lot of smart people but when the economy is bad, the gov't shouldn't be wasting money on that stuff. Billion dollar fighter planes pftt!
The moment was reminiscent of the clip where a preacher's wife answered the "name something you put in your mouth but don't swallow" with "semen," and another where a contestant answered "name something that gets passed around" with "a joint."
Anyhow....looks like the moves are pretty much over for the day
This is what I said about the previous crisis and every crisis before this.
During the Lehman explosion, all the big bankers knew it was coming, they were preparing for it.
What is stopping them from buying the hell out of the far OTM weekly puts and letting it all fall apart?
Make billions from the drop and use it to pay off the bail out.
