JPM closed yesterdays gap, not bad at all.

 

BAC on the other hand, no dice.

Good thing I took German code breaking or I wouldn't know what the hell was going on.

Analyst from Canaccord Genuity calling for 1575 S&P by the end of the year.

 

He says everything is going to work out just fine, we should be expecting a 20% from here.

 

Lets break this down:

 

a) He really believes this

b) His boss told him to say this so they can try rally the market and sell their long positions

c) Drugs

Quarterly SPY max pain is 133.00 .... also happens to be the next value area on a 5 day 15min chart.

I hope so too Rock, I got a 128/133 spy call spread. This mornings flush had me worried. I guess now that all the bad news and weak longs are out, a relief rally is probable

OSIR still going.  That fucker is still unshortable thru my prop firm.  Must be nice for those in the stock to have the float on lockdown.

UNG and natty gas continue to chip higher.

Ya, I thought so last week ..... but the shares are seriously locked up.  Only way it's gonna fall is by some natural profit taking, which I thought would've already happened by now.  Did they cure cancer or something?  People are clinging to their shares like a life preserver. 

Looking for SPY 133 this week. We're looking pretty good here IMO.

Random question ....

 

Do you guys find it easier to put your eggs in one basket and manage 1 position/trade at a time?  Or do you prefer dynamic positioning over a basket of stocks and simply manage the money?

i wanted to buy the bottom, i wanted to short that top, and since i'm at work i couldnt do any of it! Well, let's see what happens in the last hour, what do you guys think, will we close near HOD?

I think it depends on trading style, time frame, and experience. For myself it is easier to do 1 trade at a time, because this is not my job and i dont have the time. i hold other securities simultaneously though.

 

I think we'll see a nice rally into the close. Close near or above 132.20 ..and head for 133 tomorrow.

 

But I just bought SPY calls so I have a biased opinion 

ES 30 min been in a tidy regression channel off 1357. Looking for it to break in the next two hours and trigger some short covering and the formation of a new upsloping regression channel over the next 24 hrs.... objective unclear, thinking a test of something in the 1330s this week before it gets really tough again.

Credit to MPR for the format colors for my channels... tried something different but his format was too pretty to pass up!
