Screamin' Streamin' Filters!!!!!

I find the Streaming Filters on microcaptrade to be invaluable. You can set your own parameters, and create many different filters to look for various indicators leading to stock runs and spikes.

Here are a few I use regularly.....

Set one of your "Streaming Filters" with this simple lil' jewel.....checkmark the "trade range" and put in "5" to "150". Leave everything else blank. Call it "A.M. RUNNER". Be staring at it when the bell goes off in the morning. It will show you all stocks that begin trading at a rapid pace. This will give you a morning runner to play. I also set some at "10-150" and "20-150". These will get you started with a direction within seconds every morning. Ruff!!!

Here's a good mornin' (simple beyond belief) filter. Checkmark the "Price Range" box. Set the range at 0.0001 - 3.00 ........ Checkmark the "Trade Range" box. Set the range at 20 - 150. Checkmark the "Change Action" box. Set it to read - The "Gain" is "Greater Than" "5%" relative to "Open". You'll have your first play within one minute after the opening bell. Good Luck with it Folks. RUFFRUFFRUFF!!!!!!

The tools are there. The only thing needed is the ability to trade fast correctly. I have stated it many times over the past year but I'll say it again. DO NOT HESITATE WHEN YOU SEE ONE RUNNING!!!!!!! To take twenty minutes to talk yourself into buying is probably gonna miss the train!!! I immediately put my sell order together (without executing it) with the same price I purchased the stock. I then minimize it for quick easy access. It's all about speed in this game. BE READY TO BAIL if it turns around on you. If it goes up, the only thing you have to change on the order is the price. DON'T BE GREEDY!!! When it slows down or the bid/ask starts dropping (although you have to get used to when they falsely try to shake you with this) get off the train. Profit is PROFIT!!! If you buy a 0.04 stock and it goes to 0.05, that's a 25% profit!!! If you can make $80 - $120 on two or three of these quick plays a day, and then come across a couple that do considerably better during the week (you will)(I always do) all you have to do is the math folks. It adds up quickly to a fine weekly gain. Good Luck with it. DON'T HESITATE TO BUY AND DON'T HESITATE TO SELL!!! RUFF!!!!!!!!!

Re: Screamin' Streamin' Filters!!!!!

Dog,

Mid-day... is there a particular filter here that you watch more than the others? Or do you just focus on the T400 mid-day?

Re: Screamin' Streamin' Filters!!!!!

I have to add one more, alot of my picks are due from HUGE volume advances that move the stock up greatly the next day! Here is a HUGE MOVER filter.

Price Range (.0001-4)

Volume Action
-volume increases
-is greater than 1500%
-relative to 20-Day ADV

Trades Action
-The Trade Increases
-is greater than 50 #
-relative too 20-day AVG

If you want to yeild more results, lower the 20-day AVG to 5 on the trades actions, or lower the trades.

Re: Screamin' Streamin' Filters!!!!!

I use four different brokers........under four different names. An account for myself, my wife, my son and my daughter. Currently workin' on gettin' an SSN for my pet desert tortoise "Homer". Ameritrade, Scottstrade, Lowtrades, and Mytradz. Some like E*Trade, but I've had a bad experience with them.......so I no longer use them.

On the "Where To Find" issue, on the "Launchpad" that appears when you open microcaptrade site.....it's found under "Streaming Filters".

Re: Screamin' Streamin' Filters!!!!!

Dog, thanks for bringin this to the top.....sorry for my absence guys..........been real busy with family, work, coaching, playing soccer, and startin sum biz.......

Anyways, wut im trying to do this summer is set up a master list of filters to recognize runners...........identify possibilities, and with my new station which i know have the money for.........it will give me the real estate i need on the screen to watch L2/quote montage.

Here are my thoughts...........Lets identify the trends & patterns throughout the day - by time period

I am working on a list of filters which I will employ (based on time periods) with a 15 minute overlap.

Here are my thoughts on divisions of the day.

GAP/RUN: Pre-market & Gappers money to be made here (9:30-10:00)

Momo Builders: Stacking Buys & Strong/Safe Run (MJET was an example of this)

Classic 10:00 Runs: Eradic MM movement and Block Buys (classic daytrading symbols)

11:00 - 11:45: Pre-lunch sneaks........great to bite on....tuff to read.

11:45 - 12:45: Lunch Action.......MMs re-adjust here.....entry points for afternoon runs (from momo builders)

1:00-2:00: 10%-25% jumps............great fun cuz of volume, but dangerous.

2:00 Classic Runs: Same Daytrading signals (similar to 10:00 run)

3:30 FIND DA GAPPER: watch for bid whackers on high volume to gap tomorrow.

[glow=red,2,300]Now, all we need is info to get this going. Give input on any time period........or analysis......lets create an arsenal of time specific filters!!![/glow]

;D Also, think of this........Finding stocks on good days is easy.........lets try to find out techniques for findind bandaids on days where we bleed. (translation - finding good plays on bad days)

PS - I know this is getting long, but i am working on a technique forplaying bounces of intraday lows (corrections for the bleeders of the day)

BRING ON DA INFO DayTraders

No problem. I'm always adding some and tweakin' the old ones. Mess around with them. Take note of things you notice when a stock moves. Review and compare your notes. Establish new filters to look for the parameters on the tendencies you come across when reviewing the notes. Good Luck with 'em.

Are there any specific signs to watch for to differentiate between a shake and a continuous drop? I tend to panic when there's a drop only to see it take off again, but yes, profit is profit.

Re: Screamin' Streamin' Filters!!!!!

I use a couple of really simple ones first thing in the morning.

1)

I set the "Price Range" from 0.0001 to 3.00
I set the "Trade Range" from 20 to 150

Stocks that are trading hot right out of the gate appear on this filter. After you hit "Results", click on the tabs along the top marked "trades", "net", and "%gain". You'll find a player.

2)

I set the "Price Range" from 0.0001 to 3.00
I set the "Trade Range" from 1 to 50
I set the "Gap Action" to read - The "Gap Up" is "Greater Than" "5" "%" relative to the "Close".

Simplicity at its best...................

can you set up two accounts under two different names with the same broker to allow for more round trips ? i know gog touched on this but every account he opened was with a different broker ????? thanks in advance.
why nobody ever mentioned the " RECLIMB" sorting?

i noticed that u can spot stocks which r trading at days high if Reclimb = 100% ...

- the working filter for the morning is trades more than 20 and gain r more than 5% from the "open" not the " close" .

- i prefer to play stocks lower than a dollar ...

- microcap made trading for me like playing videogame .... very systematic
