Helpful Bones on using microcaptrade tools......

Keep all platforms open at all times during the market hours. Use your cursor arrow to squeeze the different windows so as to fit theM all on the screen at the same time. I put the Top 400 at the top and squeeze it to just show the "Blue ribbon" along the top of the page. Then you can click on the square between the - and the x (minimize/maximize) to pull it down when you need it. I put the "Timing Alerts" and the "News and Filings" platforms side by side. The I squeeze the "Streaming Filters" platform in on the bottom. I access it similarly to the "Top 400". You need to check every stock that pops up on the "Alerts" and the "News" platforms by clicking on the stock symbol and accessing the "Chart Montage" to see how it is reacting. The most important thing!!!!! Don't delay!!!!! Curiosity killed the cat.......indecision killed the daytrader. I set my sell order up without executing it everytime I buy. I just minimize it for quick access. If a stock turns around on me, I bail for none or minimal loss. With these tools, another play is right around the corner.
Once you have all the platforms up and fitting on your monitor the way you like them, pull the "Launchpad" back up and click on "Save". From that point on, you only need to enter the site by pulling up the "Launchpad" and clicking on "Load". All your platforms will appear just as you have set them previously. Enjoy!!!!! RUFF!!!

On the "Quote Montage", be sure to maximize the first one and "Uncheck" the little box at the bottom right of the page. This will allow you to minimize as many "Quote Montage's" as you wish to keep an eye on for ez access. You also should adjust your computer settings. Click on "Start", Control Panel, Internet Options, then on the tabs along the top......click on the furthest on the right "Advanced". Scroll down a bit and make sure the box reading "Reuse windows........." is UNCHECKED!!!! Hit apply at the bottom right of the box. This will allow you to open other sites at the same time while not losing the one you are currently on. Ruff!!!

Here are some of the ways I utilize OTCcharts site daily. It is not the type of site to help find good long term positions, but what is moving right this moment. Many feel that they only want to find the next .0022 that is going to make them rich but you must admit, they are rare and few and far between. I tired of drumming my fingers on my desk wondering if todays "GREAT" news was finally the moment I was waiting for to see a gain. The problem with stocks priced at this range, someone willing to spend more than we usually invest can manipulate even the Best of News! I like to play what is moving NOW AT THIS MOMENT! As all have heard me say time and again, the big stocks move on results, the pennies move on rumor. Take advantage of this and earn profit daily!!! Even if a stock is higher priced, it can gain quick returns for you. For example, if you buy $500 worth of a stock that is priced .80 you would get 625 shares. If that stock goes up .30 in a couple hours, you sell your 625 shares for $687.50, a gain of $187.50 in a very short time. Playing four or five of these daily adds quick increase to your portfolio. Here are ways that I utilize OTCcharts site.
1. When first opening site, the small window (microtrader) appears and you want to open all windows, option next to last on the list. I then minimize all. Then I right click on task bar and tile horizontally. This allows all windows in site to be accessable (pardon spelling) at once by minimizing and maximizing when needed.

2. Anytime you click on a stock ticker you can then go to real time data window and the ticker you clicked on will be there waiting for you.

3. The top 400 tracker is great. It automatically keeps penny stocks in order of most trades made that day to least trades made, 1-400. I click on "NET", pull browser down to the bottom and work my way backwards. When I come to a stock showing large trade volume, good gain, ask higher than current price, I have a winner. If both bid/ask are higher than current price, I have a monster. Along with "NET" tab, I work the same type system with the "% GAIN" tab on the header. With this system, I see the real movers with good gain at all times during the day. By playing five or six of these movers each day, it makes for a very profitabe job.

I also watch the "Top 400" platform very closely at the end of the day. For the last half hour, I click on the "Time" tab which puts them in order of most recently traded stock. Anything that starts getting hot all of a sudden during the last half hour or so is known to show a pattern of playing well the next day. I buy before the bell as to not get caught with the gap up the next morning. If it doesn't react as expected the next morning, I sell and search on.

Re: Helpful Bones on using microcaptrade tools....

Another late day tip.....anything that pops up on the "Trading Alerts" platform during the last half hour showing a "New 52 Week High" is a great play for the next day. Page 11 on the "more fast and furious" thread shows that I played SLVO that way. It hit a new high of 0.11 just shortly before the bell. I bought it at 0.11 when making the board aware of it. The next morning out of the gate it roared up to a high of 0.39 before coming back.

Another good indication of a next day runner is when you see a "large block" of shares purchased late in the day on a low volume stock. Trends show that they play very well the next day.

I am always looking for "trends and patterns" in the penny game. They are there, you just have to do some comparison searching. Supply and Demand is an issue that can be applied to most every facet of life.....whether retail consumer spending or purchasing stocks. ITS ALL ABOUT TRENDS AND PATTERNS.

Re: Helpful Bones on using microcaptrade tools....

Thanks Tip. Hope everyone makes sense of it and gets some direction from my ramblings. There is no set in stone way to use these fantastic "run spottin'" tools. Throws more plays at me daily than I can afford to play, and I keep a sizeable portfolio. Good luck with it. Enjoy. Dog

Re: Helpful Bones on using microcaptrade tools....

When I'm saving on the microcaptrade launchpad, it saves, but when I load on the launchpad everything pops up except the streamer. Then I can't even bring up the streamer unless I login again. Any ideas?

Re: Helpful Bones on using microcaptrade tools....

Yeah. I open everything and use my cursor arrow to "squeeze" the windows into small stackable boxes. You need to have the streamer open when you "save" your desktop configuration. You can actually open as many as you wish and save them all. When you load, the streamer count you have open at the time of saving, will pop up ready to go for you. One other issue, click on "start", "control panel", "internet options", and on the tabs along the top (General, Security, Privacy.......) the one on the far right is marked "Advanced". Click on that and scroll down to the nineteenth item on the list (Reuse windows for launching.........) , and make sure that it is "UNCHECKED". Also, at the bottom of the list is a box marked "Empty Temporary Internet Folders....." , be sure to "CHECKMARK" this box. Less clutter, more speed. Last but not least, bottom right, click "APPLY". This will allow you to use the functions you are having trouble with. Good Luck with it.

Re: Helpful Bones on using microcaptrade tools....

dog, are you talking about using MicrocapFeed Individual or OTCBBTrader.com?

I went to this website http://www.otccharts.com/index.html and cannot figure out which tool you're refering to.

Thanks.
