Not trying to complain but realistically, TVIX is a non-shortable ETF. The only brokers that allow you to short TVIX are props with a few exceptions (I heard Speedtrader had borrows last week). Not to mention that props don't like people holding their borrows overnight... so realistically it's very hard to short TVIX.

Disclaimer: I am 3rd to last and proud of it  I am totally fine with the winner having a short TVIX position but I just wanted to point out the difficulty of actually shorting TVIX in a real life.

It is a tricky stock to play, never shorted or tried to short it so don't know. In the ToS platform it appears as ETB (easy to borrow) so . Realistically if able to short I would have closed it quickly in the first week when it made around 20% for a short term ETF play.

Okay my bad. Wasn't aware that ToS had shorts now as well. Last time I tried to short it only my prop had shares to borrow.
