Facebook IPO Failure

Even though I'm semi new to the stock market (been trading successfully for about 3 months) but does anyone think the Facebook stock did not rise simply because the market has been bearish for the past month or so? There are so many factors but it seems like if they waited until the maket was in an uptrend it would have done much better...

Its a couple of factors, one being the broader market selling off, but the bigger one in my opinion is that so many big shareholders got in ahead of the IPO and sold happily to the suckers.

Ah I like your theory...I can't imagine a stock like this to drop forever. I think once the broader market starts buying, I'm gonna get in on some....what do you think, good idea?
