But yeah, only looking for a slight pull back.

will have to level off and come back some...been well outperforming for a bit now...time to get real ...but just a little ....actually 62-63 next week would shock me at all
post #722 of 737

That was a rather bland ending to the week.

No panic sell off, no short covering squeeze.. what is this world coming to?

Bloody murder. 45.5 handles off yesterday's high - well 45.25 on the close. Looks like VIX might settle out at 26.66

anyways.. hope we have a -2.5% or even a -3.00% day again monday!! let's crash this pos market in a cool and uniform fashion guys. no green on my screen

Congrats to those going short into today, who would have thought after so many red days we'd get another big flush for almost 300 dow points?

I'm going long Monday some SPY calls if we don't gap up too much.

Other plays would be CSCO, FB, GRPN, DMND, AAPL, GMCR calls. Many of those stocks have already been beaten down and trying to bottom before May or seen as able to decouple from the market.

Wow, I've been traveling all day and didn't get a chance to see what was going on (no Internet on the planes/airports) but thankfully my SRTY, SLV and NEM (a miner) saved me from my loser longs. What a crazy day. Does anyone know why the job numbers were released today? I know that if it's the 1st of the month and a Friday, they do not get released until the following Friday....

i dunno.. but you missed an epic day.

I know, I'm in Detroit, Michigan with a 4 hr layover for my plane to St. Louis and it's been a long day. I woke up at 4 am in Bulgaria for a 6:50 am flight to Paris. I had a 4 hr layover there as well and then a 9 hr plane ride to Detroit. I'm too tired and am glad tomorrow's a Saturday. Monday should be exciting though.

The terminal in Detroit has CNN on and apparently Obama blamed gas prices as one of reasons for the bad job numbers, lol.

Wow we're still dropping here in the AH on $SPY.  I wonder what happens on monday when you have people who actually use a broker exclusively see the news paper and call them on monday.  Do we then finally flush down to $125?

Anyone have any thoughts/estimates for this week? I still feel $125 (50% retrace of the measured move from oct low to highs this year) might be short term buyable for a bounce atleast..

Once 128.04 is taken out, the POC is left in that 124-125 area ....

i just looked over all the weeks data.. and well.. what can i say.. it was suppose to be last time, but guess they wanted to delay it until now.

Odd how chinas PMI came in okay last time, same as the job numbers.. but now its all shit. LOL..  always a cycle off part of the game.  hahaha 69K jobs..

China is is hard soft or over easy.. no no sunny side up.. so much talk it kinda sounds like breakfast.

If greece leaves that will just be the icing on the cake.. and as i said in march if it didnt happen in march it would in June.. if not then next year, which im leaning towards but the ECB comments are just reaffirming it might be this month regardless of the elections which has been priced in.

Keep in mind that all this negative action for weeks will impact earnings.. and further margin compression as we have seen in the past reports will increase.

GL next week,.. watch the whispers about the fed and intervention.

Nice chart man.  Yeah, I wonder what we'll be on the NYMO at that point if we sell hard everything might line up perfectly for bounce there.

Could be MM's telling everyone where they want the SPY to trade up to before they short it...LOL

Remember when i posted this about the fake print back on May 29th and the SPY showed a 135.71 print and i said this is where the MM's want the market to go...Guess where my target is ?.I do think this bounce has more punch than most think and we will go to 135.71..
