Stock Market Today : May 29 - June1 - Page 18

Hard to be considered participating in a discussion when you have no words, ideas, or explanations to use as evidence for your side, theory, argument (wte you call it).

I guess responding to misinterpretation isn't right though, because there is a 1-5 pattern on the monthly's action. Take a look at the daily, .... , and you will see what i am talking about.... So if that is definition status for a downtrend then it has that attribute. Again I wasn't even basing my principles on that..

Y Ignore the fact that a guy is posting charts like nowwhat, but he doesn't get flamed?? All i did is ask for some type of explanation though for the charts and accusations, but that is overly brash.. lol okay

. I'm well aware that technical analysis is subjective completely when looking at patterns, but when you take something and have reaction based answers and definitions, depending on what moves your chart's sessions that is a different game.

ED: Im not saying anything else bc I try not to clutter the thread up with ridiculous nonsense. PM me if you have trouble understanding monthly downtrend or daily downtrend based on my comments before.

JamesW, your forward looking analysis on the overall outlook for the market is excellent!

Thanks, and keep 'em coming!

Argument... discussion.... Whatever. I was just giving my .02 cents not trying to cause an uproar.

PCLN looking damn good for a gap fill to $597 here. I think it could head for $570's down to the 200 ma.

lol @ argument / discussion nonsense... just like abusive or opinionated..  rolleyes.gif

double standards comes to mind.

is that what we are calling it now? a flush? LMAO.

Try the circle of hell it fits better.. and thats a collapse to 2002 levels of course.

If we do fall as i said prior 115ish -112 or if that fails then 102ish .. i cant see the low again unless Greece and others suddenly default.

The leaving has been priced in and i dont think anyone would disagree with that.

I was just keeping it simple.  I don't really get into the hyperbole of the market hysteria anymore.  By flush, I just mean last of the panicking retail public handing over their shares while the big guys get to build huge positions at the same time.

Scary, I wish I was this accurate more often lol.  cool.gif

I was looking for that snap back robot filled rally around 2-3pm didn't happen.  Tried GOOG on that had to cut it loose seems that pattern is dead for now..

Take a look at the bear flag, then back at me. Looking for a bounce off the lower uptrend support into the 1335-1338 range. My position

i see something similar.. but where's the white arrow? no arrow, no bounce, no play imo.. tongue.gif

Night night. yawn.gif

Truthfully though, you're starting to lose me with some of your verbiage. No worries.

James, I was replying too a specific post. You said I didn't post a time frame which is incorrect. Specifically it was stated the downtrend started in March and that is what I replied to. Now what are you talking about?

Feel free to post because we are in off hours as I stated in the first post.

Edit: BTW, where were your facts when you made the first post that I noted? Now you are also starting to lose me with all the verbage.

I shorted facebook today made about 300 bucks. First time I have ever successfully shorted a stock.  Not sure if i will confinue shorting but I might want to start looking for companies in downtrends now.

I have now crossed over to the darkside..  Does the dark side have any perks ?  like free coffee etc?  I know the downsides ... your soul is sold to the devil laughing.gif

Even though I think facebook is still vastly overvalued I think a green day will come sooner then later thats why im out. Just wished I would have shorted facebook before today

I sold short twice and then I bought to cover once but apparently that counted as 2 daytrades.. soo irratating. Have 1 day trade left for the next 5 trading days. Day trading rule is stupid and serves no purpose other then to cause me to not trade and miss out on potential profits.

On the bright side futures are down at the moment, hoping for another down day. *cue evil laughter*

Maybe Im going about trading the wrong way, I have always just traded long.

I did sell apple at 568 so if I can get back in around that price I would be happy

On the brighter side we have some new financial terms:

Grexit = Greek exit

Spanic = Panic over the Spainish banks.

http://video.ft.com/v/1663428663001/Fears-grow-over-Spain   The pain in Spain, this is a greater concern than Greece at the moment apparently.

As 07 frequently reminds me *dumbass nothing goes up or down in a straight line*

So looking for a quick drop in the A.M so I can exit my PCLN put and then see if we can test 1340 for the afternoon .

Should Greece lose the staring contest with Germany and vote for Austerity and staying in the Euro (its possible) then  *achtung baby* mother of all short squeezes on the Euro eek.gif

lol someone thinks your talking to them and doesnt understand the aspect not to endorse other sites on here.  or fringe methods which leads to desperation. Not to mention your reply had no mention of lunar but mine.

Anyways..

If big boys you mean the handful who acquired those shares okay, but you would be selling along with the rest of the sheep.. that is no time to play contrarian unless you have deep pockets and own half the planet. Also i think most of those positions have been sold by now.. i mean come on 50 cents to 50.00 lol i would sell.

well good job on the short and welcome to the dark side, just dont think everything can be shorted because it hurts.. and sometimes more than you expect.

LOL @ grexit.. i heard that last night and chuckled too.. might as well come up with some new words.. keep webster in business..

Again, the concern on Spain is if Greece leaves sets a view that it is acceptable to leave.. They cannot handle Spain..  the 2 other smaller ones perhaps. jmo.
