All I know is I'm clearing out my positions if we hit 1280 S&P and waiting to see what happens from there.

From the way the S&P 500 closed out the week on it's lows, and with downward momentum accelerating, holding long positions could get very hairy!

1280 - 1260 level needs to hold, otherwise the floodgates could open up wide. suspicious.gif

A lot depends if Big Money is ready to dump at this time or are going to save it for a later date.

Whether a pop occurs before this level is tested is hard to say.

How Futures trades before Monday's opening will provide important info as to how this unfolds. GLTA!!!

fb shares appeared in my account this afternoon. Yesterday my order said pending for several hours then vanished. I dont see how its legal for scottrade to just put shares in my account a day and a half after i put in an order. I tried to cancel the order a few minutes after i placed it since it wasnt filling i called scottrade and they refused to cancel it.

How is this legal to just put shares in someones account a day later?

Now i need to get out of the stock and people on yahoo message boards are saying its going to open below 20 bucks a share.

Not long at this time, and have no intention of playing the long side of S&P until at least the short term trend, as seen on the daily chart, has turned back up. wink.gif

And yes, if you put in a market order in unruly trading conditions, you are stuck with whatever they give you!

I still don't understand why people buy IPO's?

Someone enlighten me?

Listening to the Yahoo Message Boards hmm.gif confused.gif

Those people don't exactly post with the best information/logic/realistic thinking.  It is quite the zoo.

Wouldn't worry about what they have to say.

This is way to early to see anything but this is where the buyers and sellers are right now. I'll post this again prior to open tonight and see where we're headed.

"GREECE is a tiny country, less than 2% of Europe's GDP. Its got about the same GDP as the State of Nevada. Now Nevada's economy not doing well since the Housing Bust. But do we in USA worry about our whole nation's economy just because housing prices had a real bust in Nevada? Same thing in Europe is that Germany is growing and is 15X the GDP of little Greece, so stop worrying always about Greece. One way or another, the Greek Government will have to get in line and be rational."
