Well that finish was pretty ugly. There's some more support at 1300 but honestly I don't think it's gonna hold. Looks like the next stop is 1280 near the 200 ma.

 

Interpret it however you like, personally looking for a quick bounce up to the 1340 range. 

Yep sure looks that way... I had a lil time today to make a play and start lookin. .. volumes rampin on Da down side and lower volume on Da bounces.. if things don`t change we could see some major moves down side very soon.. oversold lookin or not..... IMO

Traders fishing for a bottom these past few weeks have been getting their asses handed to them. Lots of teasing involved and lessons learned. 

Hopefully many learned to stay away from bottom fishing. I know I was caught a few times.

 

 

 

Yeah, and that's the thing. We may look oversold on the daily, but if you look at the weekly we're still far from oversold. There could still be a lot of downside left.

I don't know what everyone is looking at but /ES had a crap load of volume today (relative to recent weeks/days)

I was confused as to what everyone was talking about as well. Last time we saw volume this large was the beginning of March.

We had 2 days of heavy selling then reversed.

1302.75 was the POC for '11

 

We may see a bounce or we may see a test below.

Even with a move below I believe we'll still see rotation

back up to that level.

 

I agree with what you're saying. What people are looking at is SPY volume Aug-Dec 2011, epic by comparison. I agree it is a lot higher than recently, but even taking into account the lighter 2012 volume, I'd think we'd clear 300MM SPY and 3 MM ES easily if we get a -2% day with a really serious flush mixed in. Everything that happened today outside of the quick numbers dump at 10 AM felt pretty tame to me, and even that dump was initially almost fully erased, and quickly. Maybe they just have many of us off balance and looking for something we won't get.

ES next level of support is 1285.

1240-1260 would be loaded with buyers.

Really wished I would have held onto my UVXY I got at $15.25...ahhh! LOL

I guess I'm going to ride AAPL out...been reading a lot of articles and Apple's about to pave the way again.

All devices rumored to have Retina Display by the end of this year.

Also, people thought the phone market was overpopulated and Apple couldn't compete...now the iPhone is the main phone in the market.

I feel the same's going to happen in the TV industry. Everyone "thinks" it's a market that's overpopulated with so many televisions...but maybe in 5 years Apple's TV set will be the main TV set.

 

Going really long on this one boys...Ashamed I didn't get in at $530...but I think arguing over $530 and $590 won't be a big deal in 2-3 years.

You did...but too bad you got out at $16...can't really say you called it if you didn't stay in.

I'm assuming you would've made some huge gains if you got out now opposed to last week.
