Bears still got the ball.

See how well the 1315 level holds up on the 3 month profile weekly chart

I'd still like to see an unmistakably mammoth flush, something more than ten handles.

To borrow logic from Charles Biederman, if the stock market is imagined as a closed loop, if someone is hitting the bid to raise cash for the FB IPO, this is what we get (lower prices). It is entirely possible that enough selling is being done ahead of FB to drive us down, i.e. the FB anticipation is amplifying the Euro-malaise. The question is, will everyone buy FB right away? A lot of people are being negatively conditioned by price over the last 2-3 weeks (and rightly so). If I were Zuck, I'd be offering virtually unlimited shares for sale... as much as possible without destroying FB's equity.

When support doesn't hold that should, the liklihood that we've seen a Major Top becomes more likely.

As previously stated, panic selling doesn't set in until Futures sell off heavily, and we get a huge gap down opening.

Either markets bounce from this area or watch out below!

Personally, having a really hard time believing this market is liquidating just to free up cash for FB.

I'm hoping for a huge short trap. Shorts are creating more AAPL shares every day. Longs are gobbling this stuff up.

I know tons of people who have sold shares of big names to free up money for FB, against my advice. Most of them will miss out on day 1 when the stock jumps, and will likely have to settle for buying back the stocks they sold.
