I think we should all load up on AAPL in solidarity.

Primary wave 3 down, for all you elliott wavers, appears to be under way.

Anyone short or get puts on Groupon GRPN after the open today? It went up to almost $15 on a gap up and closed at $12.15

The $15 puts would have been a triple from low to high

I told myself to do it, and forgot after watching some funny youtube videos. FAIL

JC Penny misses earnigns and even loses money. Cuts forecasts, suspends dividend, shares down 11%.

Even the $35 put will be a triple tomorrow. I was too scared to short anything today after over a week of declines in the overall markets.

Futures obliterating all support levels, Longs in disarray, Late Shorts piling on board, markets opening big gap down.

That's Panic Selling!

Haven't seen that in quite a while, don't know when that will happen again.

Would probably require a major news event to spark such an occurrence.

Sorry, didn't mean to get the Shorts too excited! biggrin.gif

We're getting into an area where some profit taking by Shorts is probably a good idea.

Lock in some of those gains!!!

Alternate count.   Perfectly valid.

A Dow daily shows much more downside imo - like that of a wave 3.

I think it's controlled selling. Problem is trying to figure out what to do tomorrow. Which way we going? Maybe SOH. eek.gif

I'm a little nervous about Apple...but I'm holding on.

I got 7 shares at $590 around the 1st...and it hasn't been near that number since.

My question is this isn't the next Netflix, right?

Netflix shit the bed because of there major screw up last summer...Apple hasn't done anything to screw anything up yet (hopefully the iPhone 5 isn't a bust).

I'm in Apple for the long...but when I see Google/Amazon going up and Apple going down I start to wonder...are all the markets doing bad? Or is Apple something to be concerned about?
