Cubs18 trek from $8,000 to $25,000 (CURRENT $25,300) - Trade Journal of a 20 year old trader - Page 16

I think you have let your recent winnings color your perception of the past. If my memory is correct, you started trading options after taking a big hit trading stocks....

Oh well, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Hopefully your family doesn't give you more money than they can afford to lose

Please keep posting and let us know how your fund is doing. Good Luck

Any updates on your start-up?  I'm not a potential investor but this being America and me being an American I love entrepreneurial success stories.

If your looking to create value for others why not start an investment club first and then make the jump to paid model after you have a couple years track record?

every trader on twitter is a successful trader. duh.

lol books are fun.

From his twitter I have learned that most of his trades are Biomed and earnings plays with options. Oh and his most recent option play was shorting LNKD for earnings.

Thank goodness he doesn't trade with his own money anymore....

yea i just checked out his twitter profile too.  He will have a hard time raising money from people other than his mommy and daddy.

what he should do is just open a llc and use interactive brokers as the platform.. supercheap and fairly easy to set up. just charge annual fee and there u go..

hes 20 and hes trying to do something at least..  he just needs to come back to earth and maybe he can be a good manager sometime in the future..

hes gotta learn something besides options..

Rock has a website doesnt he?

What kind of guy supposedly running his own capital group goes on twitter and asks:

Anybody like the idea of shorting ?

All the guy did was go out and pay $50 for an LLC name.  It literally means nothing.  Almost anyone can do that.

The naive kind?

It looks like he's just young and ambitious, I mean, already he wants to write a book about his life? Perhaps 10 to 20 years from now he will look back at this and see it the way others see him now. I think a lot of people at one point or another try to set up their own business, and a large % of them fail. "Hopes and dreams" seems to drive a lot of people, like it's driving this market, till "reality" hits.

Write a book? Wow, I wish I had the initiative to write a book after making three good trades in a row. Unfortunately my ego isn't that large.

For the record, I have no qualms with ambition.  I know I've got goals and a drive to succeed.

I just don't respect misrepresentation, particularly when it comes to the stock world and people who want to put other people's money at risk.
