Penny biopharmas having a field day, not sure why but I think KERX was upgraded... definitely not sure why anyone would upgrade that crap.

If this market day had a face, I would back hand it right now.

Well... perhaps it is just time for everyone here to just assume ES is bound in 1342-1368, and simply play the odds: intraday fibs, 10 handle rules, volume reversals, and the other simple flip-flopperoos.

ES 5 min POC has been playing ping pong today, it was 1353 at open, and I think it actually went to 1355 or so before back to 1353, then up twice to where it is now. If that's not a strong sign of range-bound action, well... *shrug*

I thought we would get a lot more action from the bulls today to take advantage of the rather negative sentiment from the past few sessions.

I guess its too soon.

I learned some lessons the hard way today

1) Always be around for opening bell

2) Never go back in the same day after losing - way too much emotion is involved

3) Don't go all or nothing

Especially after having witnessed the dip buying the previous two days.

I'ts ok to make mistakes, but it seems you have learned from them..You are wise !!!

funny thing we seem to learn lasting lessons more by our failures than successes..

I think the strategy here is anything over 1363 ES will trigger longs to stampede in.

Below 1354, thats the signal for the shorts.

In this current range, nothing but chop and exchange of recipes.

I have been learning TONS in the last few months.

Does anyone here use gartleys or butterfly patterns..AB=CD and buying the D point..I have been working with these for a few months now and i am very excited about the results..

Example:  Yesterday i took some longs at ES 1440 based on the AB=CD and D being the buy point once i saw the bullish engulfing candle..Sacred geometry !!

You know what else ....

Eliminate the the phrase "Should've" as in "should've gotten in" or "should've held longer."  That thought process is a cancer.  It leads to impulsive trading down the road in an attempt to make up for missed opportunities.  Remember, there's always another day, another trade.

It's not easy to do.  I've openly moaned on here about leaving a lot of profit out there in various trades.  In fact that thought process had festered for about the last 2 weeks.  Today I came out aggressive, off my typical game plan and sure enough the market went chop-mode and slapped me around.

These really are the best choc chip cookies ever. From New Joy of Cooking. ED: despite the unhealthy looking ingredients, they will make you taller, darker and even more handsome.

Yes, the should's is a huge one, good call.

Market today was shit. It's OK, tomorrow is only a day away. tongue.gif

You guys looking at anything tomorrow? I don't see anything on the calendar of note except maybe consumer sentiment. Seems as long as we hold where we are right now to the close, we may have broken out of the short term downtrend.

mmm chocolate chip is my favorite. I have been known to buy the Pillsbury chocolate chunk batter and eat the entire thing myself.

The results make me fatter and give me pimples, Im not sure that makes me more handsome.
