damn Philo thats amazing! Was it a tournament or just against the dealer type thing? I lost like $300 playing a game like that. You must have gotten like royal flush or something haha.

Just loaded up big on SPY 133 calls expiring next week. Might make it a spread with the 137's if we don't get a bounce. Looking to get out with 10-20% profit, which would be at SPY 138, O7media's target hehe.

I hit quads which paid $5k but rest is basic strategy game against the dealer. Took me about 24 hours of play to get there.

I am a professional black jack player but the rules got so bad in most casinos that it wont worth to play black jack any more. So, I stopped playing it (I also got banned in at least 7 casinos from playing black jack). This game is better than playing black jack, if you are an excellent poker player and good at risk management.

If you are good poker player, you can master this game relatively quickly. However, dealer always call you blind, so one should drop real poker type play and bet 4x preflop (similar to 'all-in') about 38% of the time. Most poker players wont do this out of regular habit and thats where they lose. Also, what helps to gain an edge in this game is, you can easily look at other players cards at the table and use that info to bet preflop or predict the cards. That can give a lot of edge to an advanced poker player.

I am looking for an exit from UVXY EOD. Typically, we see a small bounce intraday but the morning trend accelerates before close. So, I am still expecting to see 15.3+ on UVXY today.

There's a lot of cash and political will to juice the markets. Right or wrong about future fundamentals, huge players are convinced stocks are cheap and that rates will stay low for years to come, making stocks the only place worth parking cash.

Well I'm really just basing it of technicals. But yeah, I still think S&P will go to make new 52 week highs like the Dow recently did. This past week of weak data is not going to put us into bear mode. This is just temporary blip IMO.

But I do think we're going to see this type of choppy trading for the next 2-3 months. After that the markets should have a substantial move.

Blah out on my condor for a bad loss. Damn things don't let me set up stop losses (other than contingent on stock price). Had a meeting this morning and lost my ass in it. Oh learning experiences.

Rock is that SPY 5 min stopping volume on that low there? Looks very interesting. I had to get long on that, just for a bounce.

ED: should also mention, seeing minds like Herman and O7 getting long there helped push me over the edge... but my analysis was already on the buy button... great reinforcement guys.

Holding 137 so far. Willing to bet my left nut we bounce over the next hour and possibly rally into the close.

SPY 138x weekly calls (today's expiration) at .04 now. Not in, just watching. Also kidding about my left nut, I need that. laughing.gif

This game (ultimate texas holdem poker) actually has 3 card poker kind of built into it as a bonus part. It is called "Trips" and pay outs are similar to that of 3 card poker.

3 card poker is ok but not as great. Playing this game would be better than 3 card poker however it can be pretty complex compared to 3 card poker. Trips bonus part is not that bad of a bet but better to limit trips bet  to half of the ante bet.

Q6+ huh....?

I did not know that .... Sometimes if dealer is not barely qualifing I will play lower and If the damn dealer qualifies constantly I will toos Q+

Is the Q6+ rule based on statistics or personal play?

its a computer generated statistic.. i believe its Q64 that is the optimal hands to play against the dealer

"This strategy is based on a computer program which analyzes all 22100 possible combinations of the player’s three cards and for each one the remaining 18424 possible combinations of the dealer’s three cards."

I do not like to contradict with Rando, 07 and Rock here but the bounce attempt looks weak. I think we will close very close to 137 on SPY today.

I do think we may see a small bounce on Monday. If I have to take a position, the long side do look favorable at the moment but one should wait till last 20 minutes for the action. I think it has potential to drop more today.

AAPL $570 buyers regretting their decision

agree.. i wouldn't be going long here, especially heading into weekend.. my plan is to SOH until we get to the 1357-1360ish level and see if we can bounce there.. if we break lower, then  I think 1340 is next stop.. the uptrend was broken in early april, and we just backtested the prior support (now resistance) this week and broke down... that makes me bearish for the time being

I dont see this 1363 holding next week.

The last interesting low we had on ES was 1354, Ill be interested in seeing the action around 1345-1350.
