So GDP is a miss, but the DXY is tanking so the market is going higher.  As a newb I can't make much sense how this is a good thing but trying to make sense of the market isn't a smart thing todo anyway.  I don't know how this doesn't become a problem? would've figured a large gap back down on the futures but.. nothing.

Well Spain was up 2% at the HOD, 1.4x% right now. It seems their debt situation was factored in... should not be a surprise. The robust performance today certainly outpaces most bulls' expectations, but it's not a huge surprise IMO as reflected in those two questions I put forth as guideposts for my views on their debt.

lol such a delayed reaction to bad news.. let the longs try and bust this higher, which Monday/ next week will be a different story. Let the month turn.

The known knowns are known. suspicious.gif

The Spain downgrade was just a matter of time, but it was know.

The IBEX sold off from March ahead of the news, now for a little bounce, lets see how it does at that 7500 level which was Sept and Nov support. If that level is now resistance, that will be a good sign for further downside to come.

Wow, that is weird, another M stock got flattened, closed around 16 and is trading around 9, look up MDRX's chart/ticker doppleganger in MXWL. Parallel stocks, different universes... call the Fringe team.

I know! I can't find a default GTC though confused.gif I'm putting in a request via the support/chat button at the top of the platform.

ES right?

MPR always speaks in ES language.

Big thing I am watching now is to see if DX goes back below that early April low of 79.795. It dipped below early this morning, then came back above and is just parked above that level right now. I'm thinking they will fish a little deeper for some sell stops at some point today. Under 79.75 should see some extension, if it doesn't get there, we may just chop around in a dull mess all day. Bonds have pulled back a full handle off the overnight highs, which is helping to keep me in cash or long, but not get short... that 1393 area held nicely, put the kibosh on my short playbook, for the meantime anyway.
