Retarded government thinks its a good idea to have this PDT rule to keep people from making profit so the idiots who dont know what they are doing dont lose too much money. While people who want to take the risk arnt allowed to do more then 3 day trades.. its pure BS

lol only if I was paying attention at EoD and realized that aapl was reporting and I should have been watching/positioned in NQ instead.. One of the dumbest things I think I have done ..

dont have 25k only 15k

Sorry that wasnt considered a daytrade since I sold and then rebought. I did a daytrade a few minutes ago in premarket for 1.50 a share gain.

Im planning on getting off of margin soon but I would like to sell around 630. Being on margin when the stock is going down for 2 weeks is not fun at all. If apple missed I would be in deep trouble right about now.

Yep.  Im now back up to 50% gain for the year. Im going to get off margin soon to protect my gains.

cash account wouldn't have helped, he would have sold his settled position and this morning he would have had to wait 3 days to safely repurchase.

and the PDT is in place to keep folks that dont know what they are doing from hurting themselves more. Like all in with margin on 1 position and watched commons drop 10% in 2 weeks and not abort.
